My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Alaska born and raised, I have moved out of state several times only to be drawn back home a few years later.

I am outgoing and personable, and I thrive on new experiences. While I'd ideally like to meet someone to settle down with (and let's face it, isn't that why we are here) settling down does not mean settling.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am currently working for a local communications company (yes, THAT company) as a commercial services rep. The job pays the bills. My true passion is teaching, and I recently finished a masters program in theatre with the intention of continuing on to complete my PhD and one day teach this amazing craft at the collegiate level.

I also drink copious amounts of coffee, and enjoy locally crafted beer (this is something I dearly missed during my most recent escapade out of state).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Convincing the undergrads I teach that I know as much as they think I know. I hope none of them see this.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I fidget and can not sit still for long periods of time. I always seem to have a book on me. I am energetic and it's not because of the copious coffee intake (well perhaps slightly).

Also, I'm told I have an accent. There isn't an 'Alaskan accent', not like the South, or NY, and I do not notice an accent from other Alaskans. Then again, perhaps I am conditioned not to hear fellow Alaskan's accents. Seriously though, there isn't an Alaskan accent.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Book: Song of Ice and Fire, LOtR, short stories in the New Yorker and Harper's Mag. I've been on a kick reading modern novels lately, but I find when I finish them they leave little impact.
Suggestions? I

Favorite playwrights:
Albee, Strindberg, Mamet, Simon, Racine, Aeschylus, Moliere, Shakespeare, Wilde, Labute

Like all fans, I eagerly await The Winds of Winter

TV: Until just a few months ago I had not owned a TV in over a decade. Now that I am working for (that company), and they provide free TV service, I have one and do not have to rely on watching shows online.

Plays: As You Like It, Rosencrantz and Gildenstern are Dead, Fat Pig, Under the Yum Yum Tree, Desire Under the Elms, A View From The Bridge, The Birds, The Visitor, The Homecoming, The Owl and the Pussycat, Barefoot in the Park, I Love You, Jimmy Spud, Closer....the list could go on and on....

This list is very out of desk is a cluster of papers, books, and coffee mugs..I suppose it only makes sense that I am all over the place in this box.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Theatre (this is a MUST)
coffee (this is also a MUST)
something to read
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

When am I going to have time to crack open whatever it is I am reading at the time.
