This part is awkward for everyone as you debate between sounding arrogant or overly honest. I am like you and I'm just looking for someone to laugh with and enjoy life with. Here's a couple key things about me.

I am well read and I hope never to loose my passion for reading

I am obsessed with patterns and the quirks of the universe.

I wish to understand and know all that I can. The phrase "that a wise man understands he knows nothing" is not alien to me.

I am silly and dorky.

Currently working while going to school to get a degree in history. I intend to become a history teacher, as there are few things I'm more passionate about than history. I am also hoping to pull off several trips across the world. I'm currently saving up for a backpacking trip across Ireland.

I'm good at making people smile, whether on purpose or not. I'm well informed on most subjects. My greatest skill I'd say is my ability to understand someone. As I said before history is a huge passion of mine and chances are any time you spend with me your gonna learn something about it.

I also have a talent for writing and I'm trying to get the stories that swirl around in my head down on paper.

I'm quiet at first, but once I'm rolling we'll talk easily and long.

I wear all black out of comfort so that's often something that starts the assumptions about me which of course is all the more fun to break or to surprise when I randomly wear a tie dye shirt.

Favorite Series is The Dark Tower by Stephen King and favorite book is Lion of Ireland. The works of Lovecraft and Robert E. Howard are fantastic. Also I quite enjoyed Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson, The Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey, The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, and Sevenwaters Series by Juliet Marillier. I have some comics like Scott Pilgrim or Y: Last Man and follow some manga. I have read a good amount of nonfiction as well. Mostly Ancient History and Irish History. Huge fan of Graham Hancock.

Favorite Movie a toss up between Braveheart and Dark Knight. Also on my top shelve (where I keep my favorite movies and ones I can watch anytime) are Saved(a satire), Live Free or Die Hard, Patriot, Kingdom of Heaven, Thor, Boondock Saints, Shawshank Redemption, Clerks 2, Serenity, LOTR(extended), Fifth Element, and Princess Mononoke. Favorite Shows I currently follow, Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, Supernatural, 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother, Haven, Parenthood, and a couple others. A fan of Star Trek, Firefly, X-Files, Deadwood, etc

My favorite Musician is Luka Bloom and Favorite band is either
Cake or Carbon Leaf. Afro Celt is also very amazing. My tastes range far and really only stops at large portions of rap and country but I don't shun it all. Lately I've been on an 80's rock kick and I'm always up for some Celtic style music of any genre.

Favorite food is hands down, Pizza.

I'm a huge fan of the Mario and Zelda series. Big into FF but the latest have been let downs in my opinion. Skyrim was a delightful game, though annoyingly glichy. Civ 5 is a fantastic game. Steam has been a very nice medium for my gaming as of late. I've been playing Mech Warrior Online. It is really fun.

My favorite Webcomics are Something Positive, Questionable Content, Least I Could Do, El Goonish Shive, Dominic Deegan, Pictures Of You, Girl Genuis, Gunnerkrigg Court, Dr. McNinja, Xkcd, Goblins, and others.

If I was to really get to the basics, then Flint, wood, Pyrite, cave, wolf, and astronomy

Everything, but largely the future, history and myths. Often I will get so caught up in my thoughts that I lose track of myself and the world around me. I'm a bit of a brooder and ponderer

Kicking back with close friends or reading a book or nerding out with friends. I do the bar scene from time to time.

Or that's what I would be doing if I wasn't tossing dough and making pizza like a Boss.

I also enjoy going to Hookah Bars.

I feel alone even in a group.
