My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am looking for a partner, an equal in this endeavor we call life.

I read constantly and I hope never to lose my passion for reading.

I find joy in the smallest of things while never forgetting marvelous wonder that is vastness of our reality.

I am obsessed with the patterns and the quirks of the universe. I wish to understand and know all that I can.

And to counter my philosophical statements I will end with the simple truth of me, I am dorky and silly.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently working while at restaurant making good money. At some point I'd like to finish my degree in history. I like idea of becoming a history teacher, as there are few things I'm more passionate about than history. Mostly just working on my writing and hanging out with my best friend whom I live with.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am good at making people smile, whether on purpose or not. I'm well informed on most subjects. My greatest skill I'd say is my ability to understand someone. As I said before, history is a huge passion of mine. Chances are good that any time you spend with me will result in learning something new.

The beard. Never gonna shave it off.

I also get complements on my eyes. They compel.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My favorite Series is The Dark Tower by Stephen King and my favorite book is Lion of Ireland by Morgan Llewellyn. The works of Lovecraft and Robert E. Howard (creator of Conan the Barbarian) are fantastic. Stranger in a Strange Land holds a dear place in my heart. Also I have quite enjoyed the following: The Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson, The Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey, The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, Asimov's Foundation series, the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, Kingkiller Trilogy by Patrick Rothfuss, and Sevenwaters Series by Juliet Marillier.

Some graphic novels I have liked are Scott Pilgrim and Y: Last Man. I also follow some manga like Full Metal Alchemist, and Berserk.

I have read a good amount of nonfiction as well. Mostly Ancient History and Irish History.

My favorite movie is a toss up between Braveheart and Dark Knight. Also on my top shelve (where I keep my favorite movies and ones I can watch anytime) are Saved(a satire), Live Free or Die Hard, Patriot, Kingdom of Heaven, Thor, Boondock Saints, Shawshank Redemption, Clerks 2, Serenity, LOTR(extended), Fifth Element, and Princess Mononoke. Cabin in the Woods, Evil Dead, and Halloween are some of my favorite horror movies. Sean of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and World's End are a laugh. The Lego Movie was awesome and Guardians of the Galaxy was hilarious.

Shows that I have really enjoyed are Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, Supernatural, 30 Rock, Adventure Time, Vikings, How I Met Your Mother, Haven, Dexter, Parenthood, and a couple others. A fan of Star Trek, Firefly, X-Files, Scrubs, Deadwood, etc

My favorite Musician is Luka Bloom and Favorite band is either Cake or Carbon Leaf. Afro Celt is also very amazing. My tastes range far. It really only stops at large portions of rap and country, but I don't shun it all. Lately I've been on an 80's rock kick and I'm always up for music influenced with Celtic styles.

Favorite food is hands down, Pizza.

I'm a huge fan of the Mario and Zelda series. Big into FF but the latest have been let downs in my opinion. FF7 and FF9 are the climax of the series. Skyrim is a delightful game, and becomes astounding with mods. I have the Majora's Mask moon in my sky. Civ 5 is a fantastic game that I sink too many hours into it. Steam has been a very nice medium for my gaming as of late. Alien Isolation has a terrifying and thrilling experience. I highly recommend it. Pokemon isn't the only reason I keep up with Nintendo's handhelds but its one of the main reason.

My favorite Webcomics are Something Positive, Questionable Content, Dumbing of Age, El Goonish Shive, Dominic Deegan, Pictures Of You, the comics of Minna Sundberg, Girl Genuis, Gunnerkrigg Court, Dr. McNinja, Xkcd, Goblins, Rice Boy comics,WTF comics, Scandinavia and the World, and others.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books, Trees, History, Dreams, Mystery, and Trust.

The real basic living would then be flint, wood, pyrite, a cave, a wolf, and Astronomy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything, but largely the future, history and myths. Often I will get so caught up in my thoughts that I loose track of myself and the world around me. I'm a bit of a brooder and ponderer
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Kicking back with close friends, reading a book or nerding out with my friends. I do the bar scene from time to time.

I also enjoy going to Hookah Bars.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I often feel alone even in a group.
