My name is Max, how do you do?

Here's me in a nutshell:

I fly by the seat of my pants, but I also know when to drop anchor. I'm very responsible and have a good head on my shoulders. People call me an old soul, and say I'm wise beyond my years. I'd like to think that last part is true.

I'm more at home around a fire with a few buddies and some beers than I am at loud dance clubs. Love being outdoors, love live music, animals and genuine people.

I am driven, grounded, and talented

I'm very fortunate to do what I love for a living. Music is my life and it takes me on many adventures. I'm a guitarist first and foremost (we're not all bums, I promise). I've played professionally for many years, have toured and played with a few successful bands. I do work as an artist development consultant/music director, and stay busy with session work in the meantime. It's a profession that is always fresh and challenging.

I'm also currently working on a degree in graphic/web design.

In the music field, I am a respected and sought-after player. I'm sort of a go-to guy as I am proficient in many styles and can fall into almost any situation. I am also somewhat a visual artist. Although, when I got serious about music, that sort of took a back seat.

Face/ green eyes. And of course, the hair. Oh I have good skin, too.

Movies: Donnie Darko, Metropolis, Inception, The Big Lebowski, The Blues Brothers, This is Spinal Tap, Bill & Ted's (both), Almost Famous, Zack and Miri, Pineapple Express, Team America, Gran Torino, The Rocker, Religulous, Idiocracy, Rambo, Superbad, love Tarantino, Del Toro, Coen bros. movies.

TV: Don't watch it much. Although I firmly believe Penn & Teller: BULLSHIT should be required viewing for all americans. I do like Adult Swim, Family Guy, Sunny in Philadelphia, Battlestar Galactica, *yep* Star Trek... Oh yeah and Leno sucks, Conan rocks! If you disagree, I don't think we are going to get along.

Music: All across the board. Grew up on Rock. Amateur musicologist here...

Life in general. If you are up to some heated philosophical discussion, bring it. Although I do admit to watching way too much sci-fi, I think I have a pretty unique outlook on life.

Playing a gig, hanging out. I am not a 'clubber'. But I do like a good night out and a few cocktails. I definitely know how to have fun.

Any girl making a 'duckface' in her profile pic automatically gets one star and hidden. Because... c'mon... seriously?
