My self-summary
I'm pretty gregarious for an introvert. Some have described me as omniverted - I think they invented that word just to drive me crazy.

I absolutely love to go out with a big group of friends, but like quiet days as well. I get along with most kinds of people, but have a tough time with haters and bigots.

In my youth I dreamed of saving the world - wasn't sure from what, but I've always tried to give more than get. To that end I work to live, rather than live for work. I make stickers.

Now I try to have fun with everything I do. Creativity is key. I'm a graphic designer that tries every day to make something interesting.

I keep track of happenings around town and help organize some of it. Ask me about my houseplants!
What I’m doing with my life
I firmly believe that this life is our one chance at it and try my best to not waste it. Anyone can change the world for the better if really want to. In the past I've been politically active, both inside and outside the system. Recently I've been active in a local meetup group that successfully runs several events a month.
I’m really good at
…making people laugh. My sense of humor is definitely on the
sarcastic side while not mean. I really enjoy highlighting the
weirdness that makes this place great.

I am also good at making people feel comfortable. I have good taste
in beer and know where fun things are happening around town.

I'm quite good at page layout as well - this is not a job interview though.
The first things people usually notice about me
You tell me - my laugh lines?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm in love with the fun weird theaters around town with the Riverview topping the list. Doesn't a nice evening with and some great popcorn sound nice?

I like live theater and going to the museums around town. I've seen everything the Jungle Theater has produced for the past five years, a show at The Guthrie when ever I can find a decent deal. I found a fun production of Waiting for Godot this summer in a theater under active renovation in NE Mpls that just blew my mind!

I'm pretty much a Film Noir junkie and have no fear of subtitles or black & white films. Did you see that the Moroder version of Metropolis is now on Netflix?

I really love MPR and listen to all three stations, The Current, Classical, & The News. I'm even facebook friends with some of the DJs - special!

Kraftwerk, Ani Defranco, Tom Waits, PJ Harvey, Talking Heads, Dessa, Bob Dylan, Spaghetti Western String Co., Trampled by Turtles, Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra, etc, etc. all live in my itunes library.

I like to explore new places in town and I am learning to cook. Do
you have a good vegetarian recipe you want to share with me?
The six things I could never do without
Besides the boring basics (food, air, water, shelter, internet) I'm fairly unmaterialistic. Just don't look at all the junk in my garage...

Things that make smile are:
Bread smells, old theaters, a smooth bike path, inner courage, good shoes, red hots.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What the next step is. I like to make plans - some of which actually comes to fruition.
On a typical Friday night I am
Exploring a pub or bar that I've never been to before. I love finding new places and bringing a group of friends to discover what's cool around town. We've been known to take over the place.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Pillsbury pop-out dough scares me.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 30–45
  • Near me
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
…you've like to go to the next showing at the Riverview Theater.

…you'd like to take a (medium paced) bicycle ride down West River Road or the Greenway.

…you crave coffee, croissant and someone to sit across the table from you while we read the Sunday paper.

…you want to find someone with more chemistry than just friendship.
