I'm a fairly recent transplant from a small town on the other side of the state. I'm passionate about music, photography, reading, and coffee.

Something that should be known right off the bat:

I am very driven. I am constantly pushing myself towards one goal or another, and the comfort zone isn't a place that I spend much time in. (As a result, I do have a tendency to overwork myself.) Why do I mention this? Because while I don't expect anyone to keep up with me, I do prefer to associate with people who are least TRYING to get their shit together. I don't have much patience for people who are content to sit waiting for life to hand them things, and then complain that they haven't gotten anywhere.

Right now I'm working (a bit more than I'd like), and trying to save up enough money to head back to school. I love to spend my free time hanging out in coffee shops, reading, exploring, and thrifting.

Update: Back at school. Still working too much. What is sleep.

I'm not REALLY good at anything, but I'm fairly average in most areas, and spectacularly bad at things like: time management, waking up early, grocery shopping, and filling out paperwork of any kind.

- I give off the impression that I'm nervous about 80% of the
time. (I'm not really nervous, just over caffeinated.)
- I make the stank face a lot.
- I smell nice.
- Also, I apparently look tired. All the time.

I have music playing pretty much every waking moment of my life, so narrowing it down is hard... My favorite bands right now are Metric, Phantogram, Daughter, M83, St. Vincent, and the Bloody Beetroots.

I will read absolutely anything I can get my hands on, but I'm partial to books about architecture, To Kill a Mockingbird, and the occasional cheesy sci-fi novel.

Sleeping. Whether I'm hungry, or just bored. How many times I can hit "snooze" before I'm late. Where I put my keys. World peace.

My hairdresser commanded me to try this site.
Also, I'm afraid of geese.

If you're fun, intelligent, and okay with spending hours on end in bookstores and record stores, I'd love to hear from you! Also, in this profile I've failed to capture my tendency to make snide commentary in completely inappropriate situations. So you know, be ready for that.
