My self-summary
I'm a struggling novelist who is torn between reading books and writing them when he isn't working at his day job. As far as the novels go, they're detective stories, which is odd considering I generally hate detective stories. It's kind of like that exchange in the movie 'Clerks': Dante: But you hate people Randal: But I love gatherings. Isn't it ironic?

I am intellectual, humourous, and charming
What I’m doing with my life
Well, I'm working on this series of detective novels about this real smart college dropout who keeps finding himself in situations where he uses his extensive education of the seemingly meaningless to catch bad guys almost as clever as he is. Almost.
I’m really good at
Maintaining a interesting exchange of thoughts and ideas, from everything including politics and religion to what the best beer is, and occasionally it's about totally inconsequential crap. Those are the fun ones.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a nice guy and I use big words, which, suprisingly enough, are the two things most people don't like about me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Anything by Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams, JRR Tolkien, Clive Barker, Dan Brown or Terry Pratchet, for movies anything by Guy Ritchie that doesn't involve Madonna, anything by Kevin Smith that doesn't involve Ben Affleck after he met J.Lo, Star Wars, Star Trek, LOTR, and any movie that i can't figure out in the first five minutes, For Music it's the Beatles, Led Zeppelin (most any geezer rock really), Metallica, Nickel Creek, Tom Petty, Bare Naked Ladies and Pearl Jam (oh and most things Scott Weiland gets involved with). For food, well, in my gut i'm still a guy so it's all beer & pizza for me.
The six things I could never do without
Good Books, Good Beer, my pipe, my laptop, work (really), and my comfy chair
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Plots for an upcoming series of detective novels i'm writing about a real bright dropout college student who lives in a Northern Californiac college town driving around in a van solving mysteries (ok, it's a green SUV, but he calls it the mystery machine)
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with my drinking buddies anjoying a brew at the 'Bear, or not.

You want talk to a guy who isnt an idiot and listens to what you have to say and not that polite smile and nodding crap.
