My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I can be pretty reserved or shy from time to time, even to the point where I may seem humorless or stuffy (at least my coworkers seem to think so), but I open up quickly and I think I can be a funny, cool guy once you get to know me, if you're into that sort of thing. If you can win me over (which, let's face it, isn't too hard!) you'll gain a fiercely loyal friend who will be by your side no matter what may be.

I live in Hialeah, which bills itself as "The city of progress." I've never seen a statement that makes me shrug harder.

All in all, I'm looking for someone to escape with, from the same old drudgery of our day-to-day lives. Someone whom I can truly be Miley with.

My name is Steven, by the way.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for an airport retail company in it's warehouse. Due to my working schedule, it also leaves me with a lot of free time. Otherwise it's all push, pull, shove, lift.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a good listener, and have a keen eye for little details. As a result, I'm sort of a trivia junkie. If I hear a random fact or inane tidbit it'll get packed away into my mind somewhere and I'll spring it on you when either of us least expects it. I should probably try to get on a game show of some kind.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My voice, which can be pretty deep, though it changes if I'm excited. I've been told I have a voice for radio.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

For books, one of my favorites is John Hodgman's trilogy collection of "Complete World Knowledge," but I love humor books in general. I grew up with the Harry Potter series and consequently like it quite a bit. Admittedly I'm not as well read as I'd like to claim I am, so to remedy that I just bought a Kindle, and I am currently open to your suggestions! Please, no Stephanie Meyer.

As for movies I like comedy, adventure, animation, musicals, fantasy. I adore Pixar's films, especially Wall-E and Up. I un-ironically hold the belief that Pootie Tang is one of the greatest films of our generation. Basically, I love movies that are funny for all the wrong reasons, especially when they get the MST3K or Rifftrax treatment.

I don't watch a ton of TV but I'm just getting into Arrested Development thanks to the magic of Netflix, I realize I'm 10 years late or whatever but I admit my younger self would never have understood half these jokes when a majority of it was brand new.

There's a lot of music I love, across many, many genres. From the trashiest of pop, to classical, which was obviously the trashy pop music of it's time. As well as 80's and 90's rock. Rap and R&B to a lesser extent. I'm open to suggestions in this respect as well; I'll listen to anything, but please don't be distraught if I say I'm not into it.

I adore spicy food. I enjoy Cuban, Mexican, Italian. My favorite dish is probably Rabo Encedido. I'd like to learn how to cook, so that's definitely on the agenda for the near future.

Since it fits here, I like video games too, I don't like calling myself a "gamer" though. A certain stigma has developed with that term over the years, and I no longer want to associate with them beyond the fact that I like playing games at all.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think a lot about my friends and their well being. I do not have many but my friends mean the world to me, and I would do nearly anything for them. I wouldn't trade them for anything. It would bring me great joy to grow my circle of friends, as well.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lazing at home, playing some game. I tend to go to bed early-ish due to waking up at 4am for work. I don't have a lot of room for a "nightlife" but clubs have never appealed to me too much, so that suits me fine. On the other hand, if you're inviting, I'm game.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You find children's swears, cusses, and euphemisms way funnier than adult ones. If a voice deep inside you still chuckles at the number "69." If you can describe yourself while avoiding the overused phrases "laid back" or "random" or "down to earth."

Maybe if you would like to see pictures of my totally awesome dog? She really is the best you know. Even better, message if you think you'd like to get to know me! I'd love to get to know you!
Hope to talk to some of you cool dudes soon!
