I'm twenty five year old dude loving life in the greatest city in the world, trying to learn how to be an adult but not lose myself in the process.
I'm a voracious consumer of information and I love to continually learn. Someone once pointed out that a large proportion of my sentences start out with the phrase "did you know that..."? That innate curiosity translates to my general life in the form of an adventurous spirit and a constant search for new experiences.
I like to consider myself equally comfortable on either sides of the highbrow and lowbrow scales, and can sometimes switch from pretentious, postmodern ironist to sincere Fast and the Furious enthusiast at a drop of the hat. The books on my kindle rotate between a piece of contemporary fiction I've always wanted to read, some trashy genre fiction (I particularly love science fiction and fantasy, but I'm getting heavily into westerns) and whatever nonfiction book I heard about on Fresh Air that seems interesting.
I really like learning new skills in a constant drive for self-development. In the process, I've become an amateur home chef, a fitness enthusiast and a self-styled sartorial expert. My friends tell me I'd make the best housewife ever.
I love meeting new people and getting to know about their passions and interests. I pride myself on being enthusiastically outgoing and cherish the wide and varied circle of friends I've managed to build. I make friends easily, so long as they're passionate and interested about something. I think my defining characteristic is that I love to share my passions with others, but it's never fun if that's simply a one-way street!
I'm a total geek--I have a particular weakness for comic books and their translation into film, and I love games of all types.
