(Currently visiting Lisbon)

Living as a scholar-vagabond for the year traveling semi-arbitrarily around the world. (Well, I like to imagine the "scholar" part anyway.)

Feeding non-destructively off the most interesting bits I find: ideas, activities, people, and locales; in about that order.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Staking out my corner of the universe and boldy telling chaos that it can't have it. At least not for now. (to paraphrase Dorothy Gambrell of Cat and Girl)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

make for better conversations than lists. But if you're the kind of person that sits in the dark just to listen to music, reads books that make you think, and likes to be surrounded by things that challenge (at least, say, 1/2 the time) I'd probably enjoy that conversation.

But here're three pair+ that are up there:
Vehicles: Experiments in Synthetic Psychology & The Things They Carried & The Last Samurai (not about "samurai") |||
Harold and Maud & Antonia's Line |||
Ryoji Ikeda & Cut Chemist & Elizabeth Cotten |||
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I want the whole damn world
To come dance with me

(Re: media links: Yes, I am partly just using this profile as means of exposing people I don't know to things I think are beautiful. :P )
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Beauty, the mind, what can be known, how it can be known, athletic puzzles, the relationship between epistemology and ethics, the importance of madness ("Sanity is madness put to good use.", ~G. Santayana), what seems to be the rarity of heartrending caring (about life/causes/ideas, not individuals ;), the often not petty logistical details of life, when it is dangerous to create things that may be misused and when it is dangerous to do nothing at all.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that you're awesome. Yes, you.
...aaaaand, apparently a little vain.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You've a mind like a diamond and a bleeding heart or you're simply an intensely good person with a very sharp set of teeth.

Or you're just another safety conscious libertine interested in great sex for its own sake (and are capable thereof ;).

And you're not overly intimidated by the fact that I'm quite intimate with some amazing people who share my distaste for artificial scarcity. ;)

ps: I sometimes don't do well at responding to mail. If so: know nothing personal is meant, you're still loved. Think of the silence as like... a zen hug. =)
