My self-summary
Hey there! I moved to DC from San Francisco almost a year ago for a new job and am having a blast so far. Life's been really good here--great friends, enjoying my job, and a lot of fun things to do. After working hard for a really long time, I'm ready to explore a new city, make new friends, and have tons of fun.

I have two sides to my personality. If you meet me socially you'd think I'm a super laid back cali guy who's goofy, loud and outgoing. But if you've worked with me or have been involved in any sort of organization with me you'll see a side that is very intense, competitive and driven.

That second side has led me to some really great opportunities--studying at Princeton, meeting really interesting people, seeing the world, and working in exciting jobs.

For the last year I've been a venture capitalist, it's a really fun job and and something I think I want to do forever (though we all have to be opportunistic...)

I was recently back in SF where my friend described me as a "nerdy jock bro". As weird as that might sound it is a pretty fitting description.

In terms of what I'm looking for, I like ladies who are intelligent, spontaneous and have a sense of where they want to go in life

I've spent the last decade working really hard and now I'm ready to relax a bit and have fun (go to concerts, travel, etc...). So let's hang out!!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a venture capitalist, which means I find startup tech companies (mainly internet companies) and decide whether my firm should invest in them. I love the job--it is intellectually exciting, I meet amazing people doing incredible things, and I get to travel (recently finished a 3 month stretch which includes trips to SF, NYC, Boston, Arkansas, Texas, Barcelona, Dublin).

I have some awesome stories about celebrities trying to start internet companies, and geniuses who have incredible imaginations trying to do amazing things.
I’m really good at
analyzing (1) tv shows and (2) the way the world works and why people behave the way they do
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
TV Shows: The Wire, Breaking Bad, Homeland, Game of Thrones. Parks and Rec

I love high quality movies and tv shows, and I have a hard time watching bad movies and tv shows. I actually like great TV shows more than great movies. I think TV shows are a highly under-appreciated art form. Relative to a movie, you can have more intricate plots, far more dynamic and evolving characters, and subtle and powerful themes.

There are two kinds of tv shows. Those that are season-centric and those that are episode-centric. Episode-centric shows tradeoff depth and quality for the sake of being more digestible. It's a good strategy to get a big audience, but I think the best shows are those that are season-centric. That's a common theme out of my favorite shows, except for Parks and Rec. W

Other TV shows: I readily admit that I enjoy Sex and the City and Girls (though Girls has fallen off in Season 2--not enough character development, and what was raw and authentic the first time comes across as contrived the 2nd time). I've learnt a lot from them. I also like Sherlock, Dexter, Law & Order (my favorites are SVU and CI with the weird guy), Entourage, and a few others

Music: Check out my Spotify playlist -- "Hip Hop Done Properly". I guarantee you will be listening to it for the next month. I like high energy hip hop music and have a bit of old school swag. I'm trying to get into other stuff, namely lyrical EDM, but I'm finding it hard.

Books: Middlesex, Steve Jobs' bio, The Namesake are a few that I've read recently that I like a lot. I rarely re-read books so I feel silly writing books down here that I read 6 years ago

Food: Huge fan of seafood
The six things I could never do without
1. My gym (SCLA--pretty much go every day)
2. My bed (my favorite position is to be lying down with a laptop/iPad in my lap).
3. My watch (pretty much wear it every day for every occasion)
4. My iPad -- I am always doing something on it
5. My shoes--big fan of shoes in general, whether they be dress shoes, boat shoes, bball shoes, or running shoes.
6. My netflix account
I spend a lot of time thinking about
(1) How the world works and what will change to make it better and (2) What in the world I want to do
On a typical Friday night I am
Gym, Dinner, Drinks, Netflix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I perform fantastic oral sex.
