Hello, Hello :)
First thing’s first I guess - I'm Ryan. :) I have a B.S. in Criminal Justice and like most post-college students my age, I’m still trying to find a job for the next 20-25 plus years. It gets frustrating at times – my goal is to get into law enforcement. Ie.) Park Police, Policing, & Border Patrol. One nice trait about myself is that I'm very driven, goal-orientated & have a good work ethic. Translation: I won't give-up on something until I reach a goal(s). Right now, I work at a gym (front desk). I've also worked almost two years doing security, which I’ve used to garner as experience in my field of study. I’m down-to-earth, very outgoing & can be sarcastic at times; however, sometimes it takes me a bit to warm up to a person.
I love sports! Probably the sports you like too…hockey, football, baseball & basketball (aka the big 4). I play floor & roller hockey essentially year-round and I’m pretty good at it. ;) I want to get more involved with ice hockey though. I’m also involved in a flag football league during the summer and winter. I’m very passionate and competitive when I play sports, even if it’s just pick-up. I. don’t. like. to. lose. ;) Of course I love the Bills & Sabres, but I’m also a die hard Indians fan.
I like to try new things, I’m almost always outdoors – especially in the summer. I’m pretty go with the flow. I like to workout to keep active and stay in good shape. I wouldn’t say I like to travel, but roadtrips are always fun. Camping/fishing/hiking those sort of things keep me busy during the summertime. Concerts too. I like to hit the greens and golf, but I can’t watch it on TV…not to state the obvious or anything. Wintertime it’s all about skiing (kissing bridge & holiday) and snowmobiling. Sleding is fun to do too! Not a big partier by any means, but I like to have the casual drink and enjoy the nightlife sometimes. I’m a people-first type person and will put you, or others before myself. My family and friends are very important to me.
What I'm looking for:
First and foremost, I have morals and values...I know, a guy with morals and values, right? I'm looking for both friendship (you can never have enough friends) and a relationship - but, preferably a relationship. Someone who has a good personality, is attractive and is a good well-rounded individual would be awesome to talk too. I am just looking to meet new people, see what's out there, and, you know, hope for the best. Jumping into a relationship quickly is not something I do like most people because I'd rather have a long-lasting relationship than a short one, and not take anything for granted. I'm always down for conversation (I like to talk a lot, obviously) and hey, if it doesn't work out then so be it. Best of luck to you and we could always still be friends. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
**I have facebook - but it's not something I'm going to give out after just the first message or two. I also believe it's up to the girl to give out her number first. Ie.) Girl gives out her number first, guy sets up the first date. It's just how I believe the dating process works - and should always work.
