I am happy, intellectual, and ggg (ask Dan Savage).
My Self-Summary
I'm a political strategist, blogger, gardener, cook, and friend,
not necessarily in that order. I like my life to be full of
laughter, good food, and good stories, with just enough mystery
and/or absurdity to keep things interesting.
What I’m doing with my life
I went to grad school for public policy after succeeding in pulling
myself off the law school track. Now I work in progressive
politics, performing statistical acrobatics to come up with new
ways to run more efficient media campaigns. It's fortuitous, having
a job that lets me combine my love of politics and my love of
spreadsheets. Lucky me.
In my spare time, I like cooking food and drinking wine with my
friends. I also like to tend to my community garden plot where I
grow lots of vegetables, which end up in the aforementioned cooking
adventures. And although I'm skeptical of downward-facing dog, I do
yoga.
I’m really good at
culinary experimentation, seeing the sunny side of most situations,
swing dancing, getting seedlings to grow, doing the Sunday
crossword, making my friends laugh, obsessing over television
shows.
Oh, and I'm pretty awesome at pub trivia. My mind is full of
useless knowledge. It's a good way to win free beer.
The first things people usually notice about me
My curly hair. My smile. And if it's fall, my boots. I'm a big fan
of knee-high boots. They're stylish and fun, and I can hide stuff
in them so that I don't have to carry a purse when I go out at
night. Score!

Harry Potter, The Great Gatsby, The Omnivore's Dilemma, Sense and

here in part because of that show, I wonder?

My imagination
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how lucky I am to have found my adorable 1BR in Dupont Circle.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I don't like wasabi, or horseradish, or any of those strong
mustardy flavors. For a foodie, this is a serious confession.
