What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I've been a wife, mother and grandmother. I've been a caretaker for someone my whole life . . . . . . until now. Life brings unexpected changes, thats for sure, and it has dealt me a big one. There are only two ways to end a marriage. Divorce is deliberate. Death is no ones choice. Mine ended without choice. I'm still a mom and a grandmother and love it! So life goes on, only now just me to take care of.

Most people think I'm younger than I am. That's a very nice thing! I like to pay attention and learn from initial impressions so I'm very attentive. I let my eyes speak for me. Eye contact is essential. I'm short; only 5'3". My daughter says I'm vertically challenged.

I love biographies of interesting people. I like mystery and suspense in my reading and movies. I enjoy all kinds of music, especially new artists and from my era. Anything live is exciting, no matter what it is. I used to be a great cook! I still enjoy it, its just been a long time since I've cooked for someone. I'm really bad about cooking for myself. I like to go out but its no fun alone.

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit

My kids; a boy (27, married, 2 sons) and a girl (25, married, one son), my grandsons, and my best buddies, my two Boston Terriers; Robo and Rosie. Material things are so great but if I had to start over, its the warm blooded assets in my life that would be essential to me.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit

I think a lot about what my future will hold for me. I used to know what the next holiday would bring and who's birthday was coming and what we would be doing, but now I suppose I could go on the same but I'm too young and stubborn to give in and be an old maid. My kids have their own lives and I'm a big part of them, but I have a whole new, unknown life ahead of me. I made choices early in my life and carried them out but now I have more life and more choices to make. Hopefully, big adventures and great fun!!

I've always been a domestic sort. Spent time at home with family. Still do sometimes. My daughter and grandson, sometimes another girlfriend or two, stop by and we watch shows we missed during the week and catch up. Not so predictable anymore though. I'm not used to having free time of my own!!
