***I pulled myself out of the dating pool for now***

I have a low drama life that is slightly used which I'd like to share with someone. My profession is one of those IT jobs that isn't glamorous but my hobbies and interests are the attention grabbers, at least on paper. The short list of my active hobbies are beekeeping, brewing, cooking (baking and grilling, too), indoor and outdoor gardening, and home improvement.

For those with checklists; I have all but my wisdom teeth, a good job in a high demand profession, a good house in a good neighborhood that I've owned for 4+ years (yeah, I owe more than it's worth. I bought it with the intention to be living in it in 20-30 years), plenty of ambition, and a good car.

A recent achievement of which I am proud, is surpassing 10 gallons with Florida Blood Services. It's primarily platelets, so it may not be as impressive as some would think.

Working on completing this profile when I have the time. Ultimately, I'm looking to find an intelligent woman with whom I'd like to share my life and start a family.

Experimenting in the kitchen is probably number one, followed by exploring my interests, and rounded off by my conversational skills.

Things that come out of my kitchen most often are breads, comfort food like soups, and things made from scratch.

If it isn't my eyes, it's going to be my wit or intelligent conversation.

TV: most everything on BBC America, most anything on AMC, House, Dexter, Community, BSG, Big Bang Theory, and anything else that operates at a higher level.

Books: 1984, Untitled Document (on Something Awful), Fahrenheit 451, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Dune series

Movies: I have a love for the truly good movies of the world, so subtitles don't scare me. You can tell you read faster than everyone else when you are laughing a second or two before everyone else. Films by Jean-Pierre Juenet, David Fincher, Luc Besson, Christopher Noland, and Kevin Smith will find me in attendance. Recent favorites are the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and Rango (it was cute)

Music: from Johnny Cash to the Toxic Avenger, I find myself listening to rhythms more than lyrics most of the time.

Food that I eat: Thai, French, German, Creole, Americana, Japanese, Korean barbecue, Indian, Mexican

Food that I make: Thai, French, Creole, Americana, and sushi.
