I believe truly that life is for living and I have some damn funny
(and not quite so funny) stories to tell. I've had the same group
of friends since grade school, which I think speaks to the fact
that I am a fun person to spend time with. I am an eternal optimist
and a firm believer that laughter makes everything more enjoyable.
I have worked in online advertising for the past ten plus years and
consider myself quite fortunate to not only like my job, but my
company and industry as well. I have great sense of adventure, a
huge heart and I'm as open minded as anyone I've ever met. At any
given time that I'm not working you'll find me on a bike, exploring
the city, hiking/skiing in CT, VT or upstate NY or doing some other
outdoor physical activity. I have a great passion for music and
art, so if I cannot be outside, I enjoy listening to live music,
frequenting museums, art galleries, record stores, bookstores,
going to the movies and of course, visiting new restaurants as
often as possible. My adventurous personality definitely carries
over into my eating and I love trying new foods and new restaurants
as often as possible. I also have a serious chocolate addiction
(dark), as well as an addiction to other sugary substances and all
the cereals I was not allowed to have when I was a kid. I enjoy
cooking (I have a culinary degree) and cook on a regular basis. I
believe that the chocolate chip cookie is the finest culinary
creation of all time, watermelon is the greatest food born of this
earth and my last meal would definitely be sushi. I would like to
note at this point that I work out at least four or five times a
week to keep all this eating in check.
I'm a big dog person (animals and mother nature in general) and
while i don't own one now, I definitely will some day
I have a small but great family that I am very close with. I was
raised with an understanding and appreciation of good manners,
respect and an overall understanding that you treat people how you
want to be treated.
