I like to write, read, make music and art.

I am a very honest person and I expect everyone I know to be the same. I am also very good at telling if someone is lying/full of crap, so don't try. :P

I usually like to hang out at home, but I'm always down for something new and interesting. I'll probably turn down invites to the movies or the river, but I'd most likely accept something like a hookah bar, karaoke or a concert.

Seriously, though. I don't like going out all the time, so if you're the kind of person who likes going out every night, I would suggest just being friends because I'm just not like that. Unfortunately I just don't have the time, energy or money to be out all the time.

Also, if anyone is looking for a violinist to jam with, hit me up! I'm not really looking to be in a band or anything, but I'll play for fun. : D

Sometimes I hang out in Charlottesville, especially if something really cool is going on.. so if you live out there, maybe we can hang out too. I love going out there, but I feel kind of dumb just walking around by myself out there.

I'm going back to college in the fall to get a Social Sciences degree. From there I'm probably getting a Sociology degree, but I'm not entirely sure if that's related to what I want to do with my life... which you can read about in the "I spend a lot of time thinking about" section!

After that, I want to join the Peace Corp and/or the JET program.. After all that, I want to go to graduate school.

For now, I work as a stock girl and part time at a pad printing place. Also, I'm interning as a sound technician.

food: I will eat anything, but only when I'm feeling it. I can easily find something(s) I like off of any menu at any place.. but I love cheese ravioli and Chinese food (coconut shrimp!) and pho soup.

I could never do without music. I love to listen to it, play it, write it. Life would be sad without music. :(

I have become very dependent upon the internet. I use it on my phone to check everything when I'm out, especially for GPS because I always get lost.

Cigarettes. It's a little shameful, but I really enjoy them. Please don't try to get me to quit.

I really love clothes. I think it's fun to dress in all sorts of styles. I don't have that many shoes, though.

My instruments I consider separate from music itself because I have emotional attachments to each of them. I think each instrument has a "soul" and they're all different.

Tasty food. I can't even look at Ramen noodles or hot dogs anymore.

Humanity in general. I wonder why and how things happened/happen/are and where it will lead us. I think testing activity in the human brain under various circumstances is the right way to go.. However, I think scientists are comparing the wrong things with the right results.

I also think about coincidences.. and hive mind. I also think about lots of religious stuff, some political stuff, tons of moral issues. I don't think everything is black and white or good and bad. There's truth to every side, even if it's only partial. I tend to play devil's advocate in conversation, but mostly because I like to engage people in the discussion and sometimes because I am unclear myself as to what may be right or wrong. I don't think anyone is.

Remember how medication was used a hundred years ago? Sometimes I think about what people a hundred years from now will think of all the stuff doctors prescribe people nowadays. Of course our science says it's okay.. but the science of a hundred years ago said their stuff was straight, too. Hmmm. By the way, tea tree oil kills MRSA and is good for many, many other things (kills ticks and fleas on pets, eczema, and it's awesome for your hair)

Getting moderately wasted. Or sleeping forever. Often times both.

I don't really have a typical Friday night because Saturday is my only day off from work so I'm pretty much free to do anything. Sometimes I'll go to a concert, go shopping, chill with some friends, hang out at home, or go on a mini road trip to Charlottesville or something.

I do a lot of stuff, but a lot of it happens at random, flexible times.. Friday nights I always try to keep free of work stuff so I can safely sleep all day after my adventures. : D

I have a ridiculous amount of clothes. I've downsized recently, but it's still pretty bad.
