Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I value self development and being authentic, cultivating rewarding
friendships, and continuing to learn--be it about a pet interest of
the moment (ex. Ancient civilizations), books on what make people
tick, or how to pitch my tent in under 5 minutes. (Okay, not
counting the rain fly--that may be out of my league at this
I work toward having a life filled with more calm and balance--more
nature, more time with friends, more exploring the Bay Area, and
hopefully finding someone special to share the journey with.
I love travel especially off the beaten path. Five years ago, I
took a solo trip for half a year to South East Asia, Nepal, and
Tibet and loved it. I'm overdue for some more travel beyond Europe
right about now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as a therapist with kids, teens, and families helping them
build healthier emotional lives. It's challenging most weeks,
humbling others, and always rewarding. I'm naturally drawn to self
development, learning, and understanding others. And when things
line up right, I even make personal progress of my own :-).
Outside of work I am passionate about exercise and nutrition, and
am looking forward to trying out kayaking, finding beautiful spots
in nature, and exploring the Bay Area. I love going to new cafés
and restaurants. I've even contemplated checking out all the local
places with an outdoor firepit. Can someone say s'mores?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hosting dinner parties. Cooking reasonably well. Organizing and
planning things. And for when things get carried away, I file my
whimsical planning ideas under my "Ridiculous" folder. Ah, low

I am hungry often, and eat five times a day. If I complain of
hunger, it means I need to find food in less than 30 minutes;
otherwise all conversation orbits around restaurants and cooking
until I satiate my grumblings. Clearly I carry snacks.
