I love to find beauty all over the place...lightning and the moon...the tenderness of night...the thrill of crazy badass speed...creating things...small kindnesses...moments of magic...coincidences and serendipity.

(I also love F Scott Fitzgerald...Crazy badass speed is a reference to Taladega Nights...but when I say it I'm talking about biking. :)

I'm a programmer. Computer geek. I work with websites mostly but not as a designer.

In my spare time I'm a capoeira student and sometimes...teacher. If you haven't heard of it think karate mixed with break-dancing.

I'm working on a series of stained glass portraits of musicians (so far I have Paul Westerberg and I'm working on David Bowie...next up...hmmm...Bjork maybe) so I can have a show.

Working on a wooden fence around my yard and a patio. Lots of time spent there.

I've been told I'm really good at cheering people up. Without annoying them.

I'm very laid-back. I have a dry sense of humor.

Songs I've sung at karaoke lately: Downtown Train (Tom Waits), I Wanna Be Sedated (Ramones), Rainbow Connection (Kermit but I love the version from The Breakup).

Books. Sushi. My iPhone. Bikes. Drinks. The feeling that you get when you suddenly discover yourself in the presence of something indescribably beautiful, the moon, a tree, the sea, a painting, a person...

Have I ever had a typical Friday night? I love art openings, live music, lively conversation, dancing, good food and interestingly mixed drinks.

This isn't nearly my most private thing but only a couple people I work with know that I have word "dream" in kanji tattooed on my arm. As Eleanor Roosevelt said "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
