I've most often been called an old soul, which I refute on the basis that "old soul" provides visualization of an 80 year old man in a terrycloth robe, drinking Ovaltine and shaking his fist at birds, which is not like me at all. Except Sundays.

The other days of the week I tend to tackle life head-on, always seeking the optimal mix of adventure and relaxation. At my core I'm a planner, but have learned and embraced that the best memories are spontaneous. Traditionalist at heart, I believe in being the most genuine version of ourselves, finding the silver linings, listening often, responding with honesty, and slipping in sarcasm and humor wherever possible.

My education and career background are in finance, but the real fun happens outside of 9 to 5. When not spending time with family or friends I enjoy working out at the gym and trail running through Tacoma parks. Movies of any genre are immensely enjoyable, and I especially look forward to film adaptations of books I've read. Overseas travel is high in my interests, and one of my goals is to completely fill up my Passport!

Jumping into new hobbies. I've been an avid learner my whole life, and still retain a great eagerness for knowledge. Some fun classes I have taken include culinary, small plane aviation, graphic design, and bartending. Currently learning to play the piano, and possibly next guitar.

Asked a friend for advice on this one. She said at first notice I'm a tall man with a friendly, white smile. Personable and inviting, I'm also exciting to talk with and my optimistic attitude is refreshing.
