I'm guessing you're reading profiles because you're looking to find a connection with a guy who has good values, a sense of humor, a sense of loyalty, maybe a job and a drivers license... I'm proud to say I have most of those things. What I don't have is a person I'm crazy about with whom to share adventures, stories and well... everything. And while I won't say "whom" very often, my Mom was an English teacher who taught me not to end a sentence in a preposition. God, I hope my mom's not reading this. For a lot of reasons. Anyway...

I'm passionate about the world around me but am usually a pretty calm guy. I'm intellectually curious but not often serious. Content but not complacent.

I'm not a total geek but can't deny some occasional inappropriate excitement over technology. Introspective and borderline philosophical yet highly functional and even productive. Have a career that I enjoy and am proud of. Love baseball. Play guitar. Play golf. My Mom lives in Hawaii. I'm well-travelled (strange adjective). Have had my braces off for almost 27-1/2 years. Listen to NPR. Run three times a week only so I can eat without guilt. Big on the concept of thankfulness.

I feel like I've been pretty darn successful so far (in life if not in writing this profile) but I'd love to partner up to take in/on the world from here on out.

I'm looking for a girl who is bright and happy (sane would be a big bonus!) and beyond that, I'm open to the possibilities.

I work for myself which I enjoy but also means I don't naturally come across new women other than the burly FedEx woman who seems nice but sometimes delivers my packages late... so she's out.

I really do value partnership and I feel like I'm good at it. I am secure and grown up and capable of taking care of myself while looking out for somebody else and allowing them to look out for me.

Movies? I feel like Hollywood decided to stop making most movies for me and started making them only for stoned teenagers. I like character/dialog driven movies more than car chase/alien movies.
Shows: Daily Show, House Of Cards, Modern Family, Discovery/science stuff and admittedly... sometimes... HGTV. Yes, I'm straight.
