I'm a well-rounded person. I'm fit and athletic, love to eat well
(I have a 1000 sq ft garden and can actually cook) and lift weights
or play sports. I enjoy kayaking and hiking in the mountains. I'm
intelligent and educate, enjoy reading (currently Crime and
Punishment) and writing, theater and live music. I'm responsible
and have my life together (a job I love, my own house, my own car,
etc). I like going out and being active, but also appreciate time
to rest and simply relax. I love the city (Esp. NYC and Portland,
OR) as much as the country (I grew up on a farm in Idaho). So I'd
like to meet someone who likes a lot of variety; constantly doing
the same thing is tedious whether it's partying all the time,
sports all the time or watching movies or playing video games all
the time...
I was raised with strict traditional values and am thankful for that. I'm big on honesty, loyalty, hard work, compassion and generosity. I don't smoke or do drugs and don't drink more than I can handle (I love good beer, though). I'd like to meet someone with strong morals: someone who treats themself right (healthy living) and treats others right (finds time to give back to the community).
I'm very interested in learning about other cultures, religions, foods, and would love to eventually do some traveling around the Mediterranean, East Africa, the Middle East and/or India some day. In my free time I volunteer a lot with refugees here in Spokane (people who were brought to the US to escape war or persecution).
