My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a dude with several awesome partners, and we all like other people too! We're polyamorous, everyone knows about everyone and we can all have full blown relationships in addition to our own.

I once studied creative writing, but then went and studied economics. I'm just curious about the world and the people in it, is all.

Are you a people in the world? I might be curious about you. Y'know, if you are cool and stuff.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I used to write content for various websites. Currently I work as an economics research assistant.

I do whatever takes my fancy, really. A lot of sitting around while interneting and watching TV, but also Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, reading, and thinking about designing a pen and paper RPG one of these days.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking. Making solid arguments for what I believe. Thinking too much about things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Got no fashion sense and either I'm being too quiet or too loud. I may come off as a touch obsessed with my interests.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Flashman and novels by James Clavell to my shame, fantasy sometimes (Matt Stover's Acts of Caine books are great, GRRM is fine on overall arc but not good line-by-line), historical fiction other times. In terms of non-fiction, I tend to read history books (hmm, I think there might be an overarching theme here), economics books, and occasionally something to do with politics or philosophy. Lately I'm rediscovering the joy of physics.

Audiobooks: Because sometimes an iPhone is handier than a paperback - books on psychology or economics for the most part, again a lot of books on history and historical fiction.

Music: Daft Punk, TISM, Justice, Gilbert & Sullivan, Rammstein, Megaherz, Kate Bush.

Movies: Ranges from The Man Who Would Be King and Casablanca right over to Shoot 'Em Up and Inglourious Basterds

Food: Is it good? Is it plentiful? I'll give it a try. However, I strangely favour both Italian and hearty English food. Anything with gravy is my weakness. Seriously, I am terrified that one day I will try cereal with gravy and never go back.

Beer: Sour beers and farmhouse ales are more my end of the beer spectrum. I only like hoppy stuff that is about balanced flavours, not the stuff that is just shoving as much lupulin as possible into the wort. Belgium seems to most reliably produce the drinks I love.

Cocktails: I prefer classics like Negronis, Manhattans, and Mint Juleps (for different times of year)

TV: The Wire, Rick and Morty, Brooklyn 99, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Workaholics, The League, Archer, Rome, Deadwood, Miami Vice, High Stakes Poker, 30 Rock, Community, That Mitchell & Webb Look, Peep Show, Futurama, Firefly, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Vikings, Boardwalk Empire, The Hollowmen, The Thick of It, Absolute Power. The Simpsons, like everyone else my age.

Board games: Citadels, Battlestar Galactica, Jungle Speed, Avalon, Diplomacy (for the discord it brings), Pandemic, Love Letter, Mascarade.

Video Games: The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, Skyrim, Arkham City, LA Noire, Assassin's Creed II and Brotherhood, The Saboteur, Minecraft, Left 4 Dead (really the entire Valve oeuvre), Darksiders, Shen Mue, SOULLLL CALIBURRRRR
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Food, 'self-love', other love, books, booze and good company.

Or just snuggles. Snuggles are badass.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Economics, for sure. Perhaps less than previously. I'm thinking a lot about writing and physics lately, two earlier passions of mine.

I'm pretty regularly thinking about my lovely partners. They're outstanding.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu if I have no plans, hanging with friends or my partners, playing hella board games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not a morning person and I value my time alone. It's not that I don't love talking to people (and especially women who talk about big ideas), but I've gotten used to spending a lot of time in my head each day. It helps me understand the world better.
