My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a dude with many facets, ya dig? I love writing (poetry especially), I play four instruments (guitar, bass, drums, piano), I sometimes enjoy video games, I like cute stuff, I spend too much time on the internet, AND IF I COULD BE ANY DINOSAUR IT WOULD BE A GLYPTODON. Also, check that Oxford Comma. That's how we roll, daps.

I love finding importance where other people might miss it. I think there is something worthwhile hiding everywhere, and I may have a tendency to cry at poetry and songs more than is normal. Maybe. Possibly. I balance that with trying to get excited about life every day, making other people happy, and remembering we only have a limited time on earth to smile at each other :)

I also like this face :V
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Studying creative writing at my local university (VIU), spazzing out every time I'm not productive, fiddling with the piano, being awesome at my job, reading hella books, and enjoying how pretty the sky looks.

I'm trying to expand my personal ecosphere and make new friends, meet people, and live life in a more exciting and engaged way. I'm also always looking for new stuff to learn, even if it's like... how many pineapples you could fit inside the trunk of a nineteen-seventy-five Buick Skylark (probably around forty to fifty, depending on the size of the pineapples).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Well this one time I bounced a ball off the wall and I spun around in a whole circle and caught it and everyone was super impressed. You should have seen it, it was awesome.

I can word good at stuff and also I play music okay and some people say I give good hugs and also I am good at run on sentences and ending them abruptly without
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A beard that can destroy nations (not really, but it might glower threateningly. Beards rule).

Also the long hair.

I also use a lot of big words — it's ingrained, not on purpose! My persistent verbosity is apropos to my engaging perspicacity!

WHY IS THIS TRIVIAL LIST BOUND TO BECOME THE MOST SPACIOUS SECTION

Music; The Dillinger Escape Plan, Good Old War, Caravan Palace, Venetian Snares, Merzbow, Dream Theater, Bright Eyes (Conor Oberst), Circa Survive, The Blood Brothers, Owl City, Burst, The Decemberists, DJ Sharpnel, Naked City (John Zorn), Nirvana, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Portugal. the Man, Protest the Hero, Psyopus, Rush, Static-X, The Sword – basically, anything that's super awesomely technical, or that tugs at the 'ol heartstrings. Conor Oberst's voice needs to have my babies.

Books: Ulysses (anything by Joyce, really), Anything by Terry Pratchett or Kurt Vonnegut, Inferno by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle (the sequel sucked :V), The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, and countless volumes lost to the ether of memory. I love stuff that makes me think, and for some reason I have a strong fascination with memoirs. They make me sad in a good way.

Also, poetry. Steve Roggenbuck (<3), Shane Koyczan,
e.e. cummings, Walt Whitman, William Carlos Williams.

Fewd: Pasta, spicy stuff, sandwiches, smoothies.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Music, things that can be turned into poems (hint: everything), story ideas, hypothetical situations, achieving my goals for the future, and just like, stuff, man. Have you ever thought about, like... infinite space? It just keeps going and going and going...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Writing, playing piano, or talking with people from the convenience of the internet (I'm also trying to go out with folks more BUT EVERYONE IS SO BUSY GAH).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I sleep next to a pile of poetry books and have a Hello Kitty collection in my closet :V
