'My self-summary' eh?
How do I go about this? Do I pretend it's a job interview and highlight all my 'best' qualities, the ones I think a potential 'employer' might be interested in, or do I pretend like we're friends and be self-depreciating and witty?
I haven't decided.
I'm 27, I'm from Donegal originally but I've lived 'down this end of the country' for quite some time now. I've grown to love Dublin. It can be a pretty wonderful city.
I studied English and History, and I love them. Career-wise - I'm unemployed at the minute. Desperately trying to figure out a way to do what I love for a living. My last little bit of innocence perhaps, clinging naively to the hope that it'll happen. I worked in the fast-paced world of data-entry until my brain turned into porridge and the only way to stop it dribbling out of my ears was to stop pressing ctrl + c and ctrl + v a thousand times a day every day.
Have recently started (hesitantly) applying for these jobs again. What can I say. Money is nice. I mean I hate it. It's a love hate thing.
I love all the usual things - cinema, music, socialising.... you know the things that separate us from the animals.
