My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an adventurer stuck in the real world of a professional career.

I grew up in Indiana, went to school in Florida, and took a job here because it looked pretty in the pictures. I made the right choice.

I love to travel and experience new places and cultures. I love the outdoors and escaping from civilization. And then when I come back I love the internet and Netflix because I'm not the perfect mountain man I guess.

I think following your heart is better than following your brain. I feel like I'm in a vast minority in that regard.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Enjoying it first and foremost. Each year I take one road trip and travel overseas for a few weeks. Last year I backpacked through Europe and ended up at Oktoberfest. Best two weeks ever. I also rode my motorcycle down the West Coast to San Fran just so I could see the Golden Gate Bridge.

Otherwise I'm working and taking random weekend adventures or having fun downtown with my friends.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Daydreaming, photography, taking the wrong turn every time I go somewhere new. I might be a bit too humble for this section.
The first things people usually notice about me

Unfortunately I haven't a clue. I guess I'm sort of tall. Let me know when we meet.

How to Make Friends and Influence People, The 33 Strategies of War, Red Sun Setting, Boyd, Another River Another Town, Red Storm Rising, Six Frigates, Pacific Crucible

The new Batman and Star Trek series., Jurassic Park, original Star Wars, Inception, Iron Man, The Last Samurai, Man on Fire, For the Love of the Game

Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Battlestar Galactica (new), Firefly, Sherlock, Top Gear UK, Archer, Long Way Round/Down...I don't actually have cable TV so whatever I can find on Netflix.

Rock, Country, Classical. I'm not picky or up to date on popular trends so I just turn on the radio and find something I like.

All of it. International cuisine and Pub food are my favorites. I drink stouts, gin, or red wine usually. Whiskey and scotch for special occasions.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Incredible friends who keep me true.
2. National Parks
3. Warm sunny days with just enough clouds to keep things interesting
4. A good laugh
5. Honesty
6. Numbered Lists
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My past experiences and what I'd like to see/do in the future.

Occasionally letting myself focus too much on old mistakes and figuring out how to improve myself from them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working. Exciting I know. My days off are Wed/Thur so that's when I'm usually out with my friends. I'm free in the morning if you'd like to grab a coffee though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I'm an INTJ personality type to a T. Relationships and social interactions have always been a challenge for me. Don't read that as I'm anti-social, I just look at relationships very differently then most folks. I'm actually a very independent person with no issues living life on my own. I do, however, see the value and benefits of a meaningful relationship (meaning I get lonely too). Whether I can find that right someone that fits with me remains to be seen.

I'm a bit of a challenge.

Well if you've read this far why wouldn't you? Otherwise, here are a few more reasons...

You are healthy, active, cute, interesting, like to make people laugh, and you have a career you enjoy, or have a clear plan and are in school to get that career.

You love to travel the world.

You're looking to just go out and have some fun hiking, I'm always up for it.

You think a man with a career, manners, and a lifestyle of his own is attractive.
