My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Okie doke, a few things about myself. I fancy myself a writer. I'm working on an autobiographical novel. It's a rather satirical book. I front a sometimes garage-y folk-rock band. Also, I just started my dream job: teaching college English.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My life and I are riding the MUNI a whole lot these days. The two of us take the MUNI to San Francisco State quite frequently.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm pretty good at making breakfast. I generally have the presence of mind to pick up Bloody Mary stuff while picking up eggs and such. When one is drinking a Bloody Mary, making an elaborate breakfast is a good deal more congenial.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People raising money on the street frequently try to get my attention with the line "I mustache you a question." That may be the first thing they notice about me. That's the first pun-ready think they notice about me anyway.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
History, narrative, prosody, and melody.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Drinking and laughing with friends. On an atypical Friday night, I am drinking and laughing with strangers.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You should message me if your idea of a great conversation is one that is equal parts screwball silliness and probing seriousness. The two are by no means mutually exclusive in my world.
