My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Our story thus far: grew up in southern Virginia, college in northern Virginia, lived in the San Francisco bay area for two years, and now I'm here in Texas, living, laughing, and feeling out what Dallas has to offer.

I'm a good cook, I like to travel, I'm into board games and fantasy and anime and stand-up comedy, and I'm always down for watching a documentary on birds/space/Genghis Khan/ect.

A few words that describe me: independent, optimist, goofball, logical, skeptic, open minded, empathetic, agnostic, feminist, humanist, liberal.

Looking for a fellow weird person with whom I can cuddle and watch tv on a regular basis, maybe go hiking or visit art museums once in a while, and, occasionally, TRY TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!...but just "sometimes," when we feel like it ;).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
working in software quality assurance, being awesome, thinking, learning, being a silly (yet responsible) adult, ect.
Right now I like my job and career-wise I'm in a pretty good place. (other than needing to use this website, hah), life is pretty good!

Every other year I'm trying to plan an international trip. Went to Japan last year and traveled across Europe a few years before that. I really dig foreign travel (except maybe those million times that I made wrong turns and got lost in foreign cities, haha).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
noticing details, cooking, writing, board games, creating automated tests (my jorb), eating babies, spotting plot twists, appreciating irony
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height, my sense of humor, my radio announcer speaking voice
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If, as the Buddhists say, desire is the cause of all suffering, what are you supposed to want out of life?
Is consciousness part of what might be dubbed "the soul," or is it merely an emergent property of brain activity?
Is our universe an independent, singular system, or is it part of a multi-verse existing within a greater chain of being?
How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
going to the movies with friends, at a show, reading a good book, soaking in the hot tub/playing in the pool, or saving the world from aliens (again).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was a kid, during summer vacations I usually watched several soap operas, including Days of Our Lives and Passions. (there was nothing else to do...) retrospect, I wish I had spent more time reading books. Wasted soooo much of my childhood watching crap tv. :)
