My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am: optimistic, adventurous, creative, proudly nerdy, agnostic, humanist, feminist, liberal.

Also: I'm a good cook, I eat (moderately) healthy, I like to travel, I love animals, I like board games, I love sci-fi/fantasy and anime, I truly dig stand-up comedy, and I'm always down for watching a documentary on birds/space/Genghis Khan/ect.

Looking for fellow weird person with whom I can cuddle and watch tv, prepare delicious food, play huge boardgames, ride roller coasters, travel the world, uppercut punch dinosaurs, and maybe go hiking and visit art museums once in a while.

Got LASIK a few months back, so take any of those old pictures of me with glasses...and imagine them without the glasses! It's pretty awesome.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
working in software quality assurance automation, being awesome, thinking, learning, ect.
Right now I like my job and career-wise I'm in a pretty good place.

Went to Japan year before last, traveled across Europe a few years before that, and last October I did domestic and visited New York City. I really enjoy traveling (except maybe those million times when I made wrong turns and got lost in foreign cities, haha), and I intend to do more!
Update: India in November! Got my plane tickets, booked motels, and now I'm studying my guidebook (thanks Lonely Planet!) and planning my itinerary. Three weeks including the holy city Varanasi along the Ganges during Diwali, Agra with the Taj Mahal, and Pushkar during their famous camel festival. Super excited!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
noticing details, planning trips, cooking, writing, board games, creating automated tests (my jorb), spotting plot twists, appreciating irony
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height, my radio announcer speaking voice
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Internet
2) Coffee
3) Spicy food
4) Good book(s)/my e-reader
5) Ipod/comedy podcasts on Ipod
6) Phone/GPS on phone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
deep, important questions like 'How can we eat?'; 'Why do we eat?'; and 'Where shall we have lunch?'
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
at a nerdy meet-up group, reading a good book, watching terrible/awesome ScyFy original series, soaking in the hot tub/playing in the pool, or saving the world from aliens (again).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
After my latest dental cleaning I started bringing a toothbrush to work and brushing my teeth after each cup of coffee (2 x day)...not because it's healthy for my teeth but because:
1) I'm too vain to put up with these coffee stains anymore
2) I'm too caffeine dependent to give up on coffee ;-)
