My self-summary
I'm a staunch humanist (and thus a feminist) with an irreverent (not sarcastic) response for just about everything. I tend to laugh a lot. I love to learn.

I wear my inner child on my sleeve. It keeps away the people that take themselves too seriously.

In many ways, I am a straight forward math, sciences, and computers nerd. On the other hand, my 3 favorite puns recently included Don Quixote, Shephard Fairey's work, and the Rosetta Stone respectively.

I'm a Bernie fan. But I accept all political stances except racism, sexism, and religion-in-government (Trump, Carson, etc).
What I’m doing with my life
Wrapping up a degree in computer science, with a minor in math.

I work in student government and with kids in my hometown.
I’m really good at
Talking with my hands, problem solving, playing Devil's Advocate, spatial reasoning, critical thinking, teaching
The first things people usually notice about me
Depends on what I'm doing at the time:
-If I'm discussing something enthusiastically, you'll notice that I'm gesticulating so vigorously that I'm a danger to most nearby lifeforms.
-If I'm not doing anything in particular, you'll probably notice my eyes (if you're close enough) or my lanky build.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, the Wheel of Time series, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Ender's Game. Working on Game of Thrones currently.
Watchmen shook my world.

Movies: Dogma, Crank, and Boondock Saints. I enjoy most Marvel movies. Star Wars is near and dear to my heart. Gotta rewatch Fight Club. Donnie Darko seems simple enough to me. Maybe I'm just missing something? The new Star Wars movie was great. I've got a soft spot for Nightmare Before Christmas.

Shows: Netflix's Daredevil and Jessica Jones were amazing! I'm a big Doctor Who fan. I really miss Firefly. Also enjoy Futurama and Archer.

Music: unsophisticated taste in late 90s and early 00s rock and alternative.

Food: Umami. And most desserts.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What to say to strangers that is neither nerdy nor dirty
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to figure out what to do on a Friday night. Got any suggestions?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Got a specific question? Try me. Seriously. I'll almost certainly answer anything. It could be a great conversation starter. Who needs to break the ice when you can smash it to smithereens?
You should message me if
If you are kind, smart, can hold an interactive conversation, and have a good sense of humor.
