My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Down-to-Earth good guy here - funny, fun, easy-going, good conversationalist, looking for a relationship with a woman I can really connect with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a freelance filmmaker/writer/editor. Paying the bills with mostly corporate work, but also working on my passion projects: a romantic comedy, an adolescent adventure movie, and a historical documentary.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good at all the above stuff, plus I'm a really good friend, a good listener and communicator. Good with my hands - love to build/fix things. And I'm told I'm a great kisser too!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My blue eyes and my talent for making people laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I love good fiction - favorite author is Tom Perrotta (Election, Little Children.) Movies - WAY too many to list here - I'm seriously addicted to movies. A few faves - Finding Forrester, Copland, Amelie, Cinema Paradiso, Eternal Sunshine.., The Graduate, Being John Malkovitch, Citizen Kane, The Jerk, ET, and about 5000 more. Music - also a big music lover - Springsteen, Dylan, Neil Young, and all the younger acts who learned from them, like The Jayhawks, Old 97's, many more. Food - love Italian and pub food - I try to eat healthy, but deep down I'm a meat-and-potatoes guy. If I didn't think it would kill me, I'd eat nothing but cheeseburgers and brownies. Yet, ironically, I can make a real killer salad.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, friends, music, movies, exercise, sunshine. And this yo-yo... And this chair... That's all I need. (Extra points for you if you know where that's from!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lots of things - mostly how I can get my projects to the finish line, and what life will be like after I meet Ms. Right.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
As a freelancer and artist, there's no "typical" night any day of the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm trying online dating.
