If you don't want a broke man, you're gonna have to put up with a busy man.
I work 60 hours a week right now. I don't have time for anyone who is going to stand in the way of my success. I also have my own business where I train people in the responsible use of firearms for fun and personal defense.
I would love to spend my down time with an awesome person who is going to help me relax and enjoy that time. I have neither the time nor the inclination to listen to someone whine about how little free time I have for them, unless they're willing to pick up my bills and keep me in my accustomed lifestyle.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a job that pays well and has great benefits so I'm really concentrating on trying to do the best I can at work right now. Don't get me wrong, I'm no workaholic, but I love the feeling a nice payday gives. I am also working on building a firearms training business. I want to share my firearms knowledge and teach people how to be safe and confident with guns.
I’m really good at
Hmm...I'm really good at reading multiple books at once without
confusion. I'm better than average at poker and I'm a pretty good
The first things people usually notice about me
This is a tough one to answer. I don't really know. Probably that I
tend to be the quiet one in the crowd. Maybe my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read a lot. Some of my favorite authors are W.E.B. Griffin, Larry Correia, John Ringo, David Weber, Jacqueline Carey, Anne Rice, Terry Goodkind, Robert B. Parker, Michael Z. Williamson, etc. etc.
I like movies a lot as well. Science fiction/fantasy, action adventure, typical guy stuff. If there are explosions and guns and the one liners aren't too silly I'm game. I'm kind of a romantic so I'm not to opposed romantic comedies.
I'm a big fan of classic rock, though my music tastes can be very eclectic. I'll listen to just about any genre. AC/DC is probably my favorite band.
When it comes to food I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy. I tried sushi hoping I'd like it, but that didn't work out. It was okay though since my friend got a bunch of free sushi out of it. I really like to cook. It's fun to be able to make a really tasty meal and play to my own taste. I've experimented a bit with Indian food and I like it.
The six things I could never do without
Aside from the obvious essentials of life, probably good books, whiskey, good companionship, guns, a comfortable chair, and good cigars.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I like to think of myself as a politically aware person. I'm a big
believer in individual freedom, and that comfort and security
should almost always be sacrificed before freedom. If you're not
hurting anyone but yourself then you should be left alone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about how things will be ten,
twenty, a hundred years from now. I want to live as long as I can
and see as much of the world as I can.
On a typical Friday night I am
It depends. I work weekends, but I'm willing to skip sleep for a
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a really bad relationship with most of my family. Family in
general is a great thing. Mine, not so much.
You should message me if
I'm an oddball. I'm an atheist who supports Gay marriage, and a gun owner who thinks socialists should be fed into log chippers feet first. You need to be able to deal with that.
People talk a big game about wanting honesty, but most just want to be told pretty little lies. If you want pretty lies look elswhere. If you want real honesty and dependability, let's talk.
