My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've been finding over the years that online interactions are a great way to make new friends, either in person or just as IM and pen-pals. The "internet balls" that being behind a computer monitor gives you makes talking to new people all the more easy! Not in the way that it does in Youtube comments sections, heavens no, I mean in a more positive way
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm graduated from TRU with a handy dandy bachelor's degree in psychology and geography. Eclectic mix, right? It's been a year now and it still hasn't turned out to be the key to finding a job, I did make a pretty cool paper airplane out of it though.

I had a rough winter (2012/13) and qualified for a class one driver training/funding program, so I'm driving professionally right now and it's a pretty alright gig. Keeps me away from home for about 5 days at a time, but I usually get my weekends and the odd day during the week, but I guess finding someone who doesn't get separation anxiety from their significant other is an important thing for me
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing novels when I should be filling out short dating site profiles, wouldn't you say? Procrastinating, making pancakes, building killer structures in Minecraft, my job... I'm pretty goo at those things too
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a very large head. Sometimes I suspect this is the reason I'm single... Some women must look at my cranium and think "there is no way I will ever consider baring this man's children..."
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Favorite food would have to be sushi... that lunch buffet at Oya? Man, that's the best, haven't done it in a while though...

It's been an awful long time since I read a good novel since school ate up so much of my time but and I didn't really turn back into a bookworm after graduating, but I am a big fan Michael Crichton, Ben Bova, H.P. Lovecraft. I enjoyed the Harry Potter books, and J.K.'s Casual Vacancy book, as depressing as it was. I'm ashamed to say I have made it through all the Twilight books... and the Fifty Shades series but only because I lost a bet. I swear. Right now I'm motoring through all of Lee Child's 'Jack Reacher' audio books, great while driving truck!

Movie wise I'm always super keen on any sci-fi, thriller or action movie I haven't seen yet. Not a fan of horror just because you can really only re-hash the same ghost story so many times, and throw in sudden loud noises that make the audience jump before you feel like you've seen it all before... then again I do enjoy those 'found footage' films, and who doesn't like an excuse to do the yawn-and-stretch your arm routine?

Some would say I have pretty sappy tastes in music. Right now I'm big into The Killers, Stabilo, The Fray, Jack Johnson, Jim Noir, and, Dashboard Confessional, Twin Forks, Damien Rice

Shows? I love Dexter, Breaking Bad, the modern BBC Sherlock Holmes mini series, Frasier, Big Bang Theory. BAZINGA!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Paintball, it's kinda my favorite sport.
2. My longboards, also a favorite sport, and a great means of touring the province and transporting yourself around town. I don't ride very much now that I have a vehicle, I miss that
3. My Cameras, I don't take pictures like I used to but I'm becoming quite the talented videographer with the same equipment!
4. My closest friends, many of which I have slowly fallen out of touch with since graduating, but I'm making lots of new ones
5. Google Maps: I spend an unhealthy amount of time in google street view, partly for planning trips for work, and partly for fun
6. My Computer, all of the above would be hard to keep up to date with without my laptop!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The things I could never do without. Occasionally think of how I could heist a bank, I'm still trying to decide if that's a healthy pastime. I often spend time staring at the ceiling planning trips I'd like to do on one of my longboards. Discovering longboarding has made every highway I'd grown tired of travelling seem new and exciting again; I'm always thinking of a new trip I could plot out.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Games, movies, hanging with friends, lately there's been a fair bit of laundry being done on Friday nights, and sometimes getting ready for the next work week, it's really just another day of the week
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
To this day, I still cry when Littlefoot's mom dies in the original Land Before Time

You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you know how to send more in a message than just "hey, wuts up?" and respond with more than "ya lol". If you can't hold your end of a conversation please don't message me, I really do try to put an effort into replies and if you can't do the same then I don't see us conversing well in real life either...
