As it is a deal-breaker, usually for both parties involved, I figure this information should be first to be read: I am an independent video game developer. I play video games, watch anime/movies/tv shows for inspiration, I talk video games/programming/3D animation/etc., I plan on going to conventions regularly when my game is further developed.
With that said, an individual who would liked to be friends/potentially something more, should be okay with that at the very least, but in the ideal situation find video games and conventions and stuff like D&D enjoyable.
As for myself and not what I do for a living/fun...
I'm a quiet person, for the most part at least. I'm entirely content sitting back and listening to what people have to say, but if the subject is something I find fun, I can also get excited... like when talking about the game I'm working on.
I have a tendancy to speak my mind and be very honest. I don't beat around the metaphorical bush as it is said. If I have question or something is bothering me, I most likely bring it up rather quickly. It seems that this can be quite much for some people and I apologize before hand, but straight-forward and honest is just the way I am.
I was raised with do unto others as you would like done to you. I guess some where in that growing up process I took it very literally and it stuck.
