My self-summary
I'm not really sure how to summarize myself in a paragraph, but here goes: I like welding, fishing, scotch, watching ice hockey, bondage, reading books(good ones), sneezing (if it's from dust, not a cold), pitbulls, singing in large groups when we're all drunk, and sleeping 10 hours a night.
What I’m doing with my life
Well, I'm in school for like 2 more semesters for my Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering degrees. I like designing stuff and apparently people are willing to give you money for that, so it's a thing I do. I have a lot of design and research I'm interested in career wise that I can't really get into, but they're cool, trust me. I'm not really sure past that, I've been in school for such a long time so it's what I have to talk about at the moment. Heh.
I’m really good at
Music, actually. I've had a few bands, most of which were nerdy folk rock jam sessions in which I played guitar and mandolin, but then I did vocals in a post-hardcore band that broke up because our drummer had his kit stolen out of his garage where we would practice because (supposedly) his step mother parked her car and didn't press the button to close the door as she went inside one night and he woke up and most of his gear was gone (in addition to electronics and shit). That paragraph wasn't meant to go there but it did and I'm ok with it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told I have really good teeth, which is usually weird because people say stuff like "don't ruin them by smoking meth" and "did you wear braces as a child?"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
[book]: I have a lot of loves, but my absolute favorite is probably "I had trouble in getting to Solla Sollew" by Dr. Seuss. It's amazing in every way a book (with illustrations!) can be. Beyond that I've been dying for book 6 of a Song of Ice and Fire (ie Game of Thrones) to be finished. GRRM certainly takes his time with them.

[movie]: okay, obscure-ish one here but there's this black and white Japanese film called Rashomon that I really really love. I'd recommend it. Other than that I really love Hitchcock (North by Northwest, Rear Window) and Tarantino film.

[music]: Scale the Summit, This Town Needs Guns, Periphery, Tesseract, BTBAM, Minus the Bear, Plini, Chon, Circa Survive, Intervals, The Ocean Collective, Led Zeppelin, The Mars Volta (not sober though), Simon and Garfunkel, Animals as Leaders, Look Mexico, Arcade Fire, Protest the Hero, Arctic Monkeys, The Fall of Troy, Pomegranate Tiger, Reel Big Fish, Dream Theater, Last Chance to Reason, King Crimson, Say Anything, Title Fight, The Wonder Years, The Reign of Kindo, and The Human Abstract to name a few.

All that being said I don't feel like having the same taste in television or music can make two people compatible for one another. It's nice to like the same stuff but attraction doesn't stem from "yeah, I watched that one too".
