I'm good at finding nonsense to get up to and enjoy others who do the same. I like being out and about, trying a new restaurant or goofing off out of doors. In a strange twist, I also like sticking around the house and making a meal for friends or improving something. Also, nap... naps in the sun are amazing! With a summary like that, it would be hard to imagine something I don't like doing. "We could talk or not talk for hours."
I'm originally from TN, so you can expect some good old-fashioned Southern charm. Unfortunately, my mother beat the accent out of me. (She was from IL.) So, I open doors and instinctively try to fix whatever problem is at hand. Some people think that's nice and others probably wish I'd sit down and shut it.
I've traveled a lot and hope to travel a lot more. I spend a lot of time in Chicago, New York and San Francisco, where some of my best friends are. I'm trying to get out of the country once a year. (Do Canada and Mexico count?)
I spend a lot of my time outside hiking, biking, playing tennis - poorly, and trying sports a tall person isn't supposed to be good at. The winter kills me because I hate being inside a gym when I could be doing something fun. That said, pumping my headphones makes anything fun!
I'm not entirely sure what I'm on here looking for, so I suppose I'll know it when I see it. I figure dinner or a drink is a good place to start, anything else is gravy. Mmmmm, gravy. Did I mention that I love food?
