My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Of many other traits which I may or may not have, rest assured, I have a nose.

I'm a history graduate with an insatiable appetite for knowledge. I work with numbers by day, play with abstract concepts in my free time, and fight crime by night. I also cook a mean lasagna. Did you know that cooking is 95% following directions? I'm pretty good at following directions!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Getting that much closer to knowing what I want out of it.

At the moment, working in insurance. I want to move back to investment, but this is where I am now.

Being nerdy.

Getting into community theater. Acting is fun!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Learning. Analyzing. Not keeping my mouth shut. Bowling. Being really easy going. Choosing good crazy over bad. Doing embarrassing things, and not thinking about it until much, much later. Thinking about those embarrassing things way too much... and then repeating them. Whoops.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would say it's that my eyes are (slightly) different colours, but people seem to take a long time to notice that. Years, in most cases. They just stop mid conversation, and stare...

Then I realize why they're staring, and nudge them forward. "Yes, they are different colours."

Life moves on.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Fighting the urge to pretend to be super cultural to get people to like me more...

I like books, and used to read voraciously. I hate to say that I've slowed down, but I have. Favourite authors of yesteryear include William Gibson and Neil Gaiman. Currently, John Green.

I like music that isn't country, or offensive to my morals. No twangs, no gangs, and no songs about wangs, please. I really enjoy everything else. Music is excellent. I don't go out of my way to find new music anymore, music just happens upon me. I keep discovering 'new' songs that everyone already knows about, which are awesome. I am about as unhipster as you can be.

Movies, I like movies. I haven't seen enough of them, because I have not seen all of them. Not a fan of horror, but I will watch anything else you throw at me. And I mean anything. Favourite movie remains Shawshank Redemption.

Food... I've liked almost everything that I've ever put in my mouth? ... Take that as you will.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Internet, pillows
Black tea, gummies, central air
Lists in haiku form
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
All the embarrassing things I've done, and [insert video game of the month here].
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the theater, or a pub. Or at a kitchen table playing board games!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Willing to admit uninvited? Not much.
If you ask? I'm an open book.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like doing nerdy things more than doing 'cool' things. But you like doing cool things too. Basically, if you like doing things. Things are fun, I like things. Let's do things together.
