My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
All-American Boy with a Twist: I swam NCAA in college, studied abroad and then spent 8 years in a Buddhist Monastery.

I like clean-cut, professional, athletic men with open minds and strong values.

I love the California weather, but I'm an East Coast guy at heart: I like guys who are responsible and on-time, fires in the fireplace, game nights and thunderstorms.

I'm quirky and fun, and mom's love me. My 6-pack days are over, but I will continue to wear a 30 waist pant.

Things I look for : Fun(ny), masculine, responsible, athletic, interesting, fit, normal, well-adjusted, non smoking ... OK, handsome and settled would be great too.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At 30, I left a Buddhist Monastery, where I studied directly after college. At 40, I left corporate America and started my own business.

I keep myself busy. And like it that way. If you have a sweet tooth, you've probably hit the jackpot.

Taking time to explore the city, and the local beaches, restaurants (mom and pop), scenic roads.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Finding something fun to do.

Scooter ride?

yeah, yeah, yeah, you can say you're too cool for that, I've heard it before, but I've also heard those same guys a week later say Scooter Ride? with a shy goofy grin because they know how much fun it really is.

Books - Always looking for a new fantasy series after so many years of philosophy, I like a fun read. Hunger Games. David Eddings, Charlaine Harris, their styles hold my attention again and again.

Calvin and Hobbes... Mr. Watterson totally got what it was like to be 5.

Movies - Amelie, Princess Bride, UP, anything by Pixar. I prefer being entertained to being shocked or grossed out.

TV - Glee (earlier episodes. I'm getting tired of Lea), Dead Like Me, Six Feet Under, Pushing Daisies, SYTYCD, True Blood, Castle, Bones, The Closer. Star Wars Rebels. That said, I'm usually not home to watch TV.

Music - I would go to hear Annie Lennox sing the phonebook. Love Adele, Eva Cassidy. I tend to go for voices with some thought in their lyric over a dance beat - that being said I can fall for catchy bubblegum and be completely unapologetic.

I don't own a single Madonna album and I'm really fine with it. Old-school big band playing in another room? awesome.

Food - I'm a recovering vegetarian - so it should have moo'd recently. and dessert, don't forget dessert, probably chocolate something-or-other.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends to keep me sane
A sense of humor
People who know how to drive - and less of the people who don't
An amazing burger
ok, that was eight. But the burger was important.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If I have time to jump in the pool before the next thing on my schedule.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working with friends. then out to dinner to catch up and share the wierdness.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I think events like Folsom set us back 10 years in mainstream society. We need better examples of what gay culture offers the world.
