My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
One of my best friends has labeled me as a dilettante anthropologist.

I'm open and patient, loyal to everyone whom I love. I believe people are fundamentally good, and I put a lot of faith in them as a result.

I enjoy beating myself up at the gym, challenging conversation over a fine beer, local art and music, porches, biking around town, and good coffee.

I want to get more involved in local politics and progressive movements, so if you know of any cool organizations around town, let me know!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I moved to Denver from Florida over two years ago and it has always been the home I had never found. The gorgeous weather and friendly people never fail to put a big dumb grin on my face.

I work as a drafter for an engineering firm that specializes in wastewater treatment facilities.

Return to school in January to finish my engineering degree. Eventually leading to a master's in my true passion: urban design. Cities are powerful, complex, and fascinating human inventions that have incredible power to bring joy and meaning to our lives. It is a tragedy of unspeakable magnitude when they are not developed mindfully.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Knowing where I'm going (my brain is essentially a squishy google maps), talking to strangers, getting animals to do silly things, and karaoke.

Definitely not an anthropomorphic crab. No, ma'am.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How eventually natural selection will remove from the gene pool those who cannot describe themselves very well on the internet.

People and their motives. I could make people watching an Olympic sport.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I've found loud, busy bars end up being really expensive drinking competitions. Noise removes the option of conversation, leaving drinking the only thing left to really do.

Not being a huge fan of crowded and noisy bars, I either play it cool at home or hang out with friends at their places. When I do go out on the weekend, I typically try to meet up with people at the least packed bar we can find. Places with prominent pool tables are good for this.

I've seen every episode of Frasier. [edit: and Seinfeld]

I used to clean crime scenes for a living.
