My self-summary Propose an edit
AN easy-going guy: I would be boastful to say I was nearly always
positive-but I am.
Wow: The internet is strange-it supposes something akin to a mutual
past to connect in public with total strangers; this is what I
would consider an E-ticket ride or high adventure.
My goal here: Ultimately, I would like to share an exclusive
relationship, intelligent conversation and laughs with a single,
unattached woman.
Other useful knowledge: Museums, biking and hiking are frequent
activities-I love being active in mind and body-but for me to dance
is both a selfless and courageous act. I certainly would like being
with a woman who can watch interesting programs or movies, and is
not afraid of activities that make the heart pump blood above the
at rest level. I like tea or coffee in small, quiet places. I like
shopping thrift stores, the antique districts and associated
downtowns. I frequently shop at Trader Joe's. Other than that I
am comfortably casual in my attire and skin. In the spiritual
realm, I am in a ever-changing(wrestling) relation with Jesus. The
women here have interests that make my interests pedestrian. That
makes me happy. Please read on. Thank you.
What I like: photography, movies, and dining out. I enjoy watching
the Simpson's.
I enjoy art museums and especially dig German Expressionism. I
enjoy board games of all sorts, like trivia and other adult games.
I do possess many cameras and I use them, also. I enjoy learning
things about the U.S. Civil war and varying subjects of
science, history and military history. I enjoy learning new
things-incessantly. In Myers-Briggs, Bates-Keirsey Jungian typology
I am an INTP. I still
enjoy fencing,
mostly with the epee'-see one of my photos.
Spinnen gefält mir. Fechten gefält mir. Ich bin Degenfechter. Fotographie, es gefält mir. Hitler's verboten Kunst- gern Klee, Klimt oder Schiele. Ich mag Wein und dunkel bier probieren.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Working: I work at Carl Zeiss Vision. Word of mouth keeps me into
infrequent photography side jobs, which supplement my full-time
job.
Helping others: pass their tests on math, science and history. I
frequently find myself helping others with their computer problems
or setting up their VCR, DVD players or setting up their remote
controls. I have known many people confined to the guest home-I
frequently visit those who have no choice but to be confined to a
bed. All the aforementioned give me immense pleasure. I am involved
with different ministries at my church: worship team, technical and
clerical support plus children's ministries.
Hobbies: Numerous. I collect: coins, stamps, license plates,
Hard Rock
Cafe guitar pins, cameras, fountain pens-I collect too
much!
Seasonal stuff: It is apple season in Oak Glen; I do love that
region during the apple season. Currently, I look a "little"
different for I am attended a Halloween party with a rock theme: I
went as Cheap Trick's drummer Bun E. Carlos.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
1)I think my massage technique is effective.
2)Taking chaos and setting it to an order.
3)Enjoying the use of fountain pens or rapidograph pens. I do not
claim to be good with these instruments, but I enjoy using
them.
4)Encouragement when things did not happen the way planned.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
My smile. Always my smile.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
A)Books: "Dune," "This terrible sound," LOTR trilogy, "A prayer for Owen Meaney,"
"The Right Stuff," Team of rivals and Hitchhikers guide to
the galaxy. I have enjoyed reading Moby Dick and The last of the
Mohican's. Also, various short and complete works of George
Orwell(Eric Blair).
B)Movies: 2001:ASO, LOTR trilogy, The man who would be
king, Miller's Crossing, Glory, 8 1/2, SLC Punk, Wild Strawberries, Singing in the

The
Shawshank Redemption, The Rolling
Stones Rock and Roll Circus, The Wanderers, Fight Club, The treasure
of the Sierra Madre, Starship Troopers, Little Miss

et al.
C)Music: Classical of all sorts: My fav classical composers are
Beethoven,
Debussy, Ravel, Prokofiev, Bernard Herrmann, Vaughn-Williams
and Rossini.
60's rock,
especially from 1965 to the end with The Rolling Stones, Traffic, Beatles, Buffalo Springfield,
Love, Kinks, The Band and the Velvet Underground. I can get
into many classic blues and jazz as well as big band. I like
Tom Waits,
David Bowie,
SCOTS, R.E.M. and Brian Eno as well.
D)Food: Sushi, no. Every other well known food in the U.S.,
probably yes, but especially Pizza, and anything spicy. I like tasting
exclusive beers or wine tasting.
Addendum: I like Star Trek and I am always game to
watch episodes or movies, though I may have previously viewed a
specific entry many times before. Firefly is something I can always get
into; Northern Exposure was playing
on a local PBS station during New Years day and I felt like I was
back in the early 90's. I dearly enjoyed that show in the same ways
I enjoyed St. Elsewhere or Newhart. I have watched
CBS Sunday
Morning from 1980 with Charles Kuralt to the current format.
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
God only knows what I can do without, but I believe:air, water,
food, the ability to laugh or make other's laugh, and the gift of
sight.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
Lines and scenes from the Simpson's. The opening scene from "The
Godfather" regarding respect. The death of Spock in "The wrath of
Khan," the ironic opening scene from "Miller's Crossing" regarding
"ethics" and the whipping scene from "Glory." Those that left this
world early: Phil Hartmann, Richard Jeni, Tim Russert, et al. My
next move. . .
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Catching up with movies and life. Being amazed by how fast Friday
has become. Thinking how I farted another week away- but it was
fun.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
ALTERNATING PRIVATE THINGS:
A) I can be compulsively honest, while not malicious.
B) Psst. I think that more than one woman here is looking for
something beyond monogamy, but I desire only monogamy.
C) I escort little critters from inside the home or work to the
outside.
D) I am not looking to shack up. I would desire to be married
first. Perhaps, this should be included at the beginning of my
profile.
E) Various nicknames: Neutron, Wallpaper, Mender Fender Bender,
Pillsbury........
You should message me if Propose an edit
you have the time for potential dates. If to sit down in a quiet
place and hold a conversation-unrushed, thoughtful and inviting of
laughter- is a desired event. Also, movies are to me what
literature is to many people. Conversations about movies extend
into my life for some time after the event of watching the movie is
over.
The only drama I have been associated were not even dramas, but a
comedy and a musical-productions of my sophomore and senior years
of high school.
