I am tenebrific, esoteric, and yet foudroyant.

My Self-Summary

I really don't like people who say "I spend my time procrastinating". You only say it because you think it makes you seem chilled out and cool. It doesn't. It makes you seem pretentious, lazy and stupid. I also really don't like people who say "Oh! I'm so random!". No, you're not. You planned that thing you just did so you could appear random and make people thing you're quirky and interesting. I also really don't like people who say "I'm not really into music" or "I don't read much". What? Seriously, what? Oh, and I don't like people who say "well that's your opinion, and you're entitled to it, just like I'm entitled to mine". No. Not everything is subjective. Somethings just "are".

I love fresh bed linen; smoking cigarettes; scarves; the smell of apricots; hot baths; listening to the piano in the dark; people who sing with an accent; slam poetry; hazel eyes; perfume; the anxious excitement of dying my hair and thinking it might turn out wrong; elderflower cordial and bicycles.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

All books. I sometimes just sit and smell books. My favourite one to smell at the moment is "The Loved One" by Evelyn Waugh, published in 1951. It's about "a riotous caper in the graveyards of southern California". Each book, on average, is read by 30 people in its life time. So when I smell a book, I'm not just smelling the gases released by the bacteria and mould as they consume the organic material in the book, I'm smelling other people's emotions as they read what I'm reading now and sometimes it makes me cry a little.
Books are my children. Each one loved and cared for and put properly back on the shelf with its brothers and sisters and each one mourned when it falls in the bath tub or has a corner chewed off by a pet. It is vital you understand this, I love books. Like, srsly.

My Top 37 Bands And Singers: Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen, Placebo, The Killers, The Subways, The Cure, The Clash, The Ramones, The Smiths, Joy Division, Meatloaf, Cher, Journey, Abba, Queen, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Buckley, Damien Rice, Lisa Hannigan, The Frames, Glen Hansard, The Magic Numbers, Newton Faulker, Turin Brakes, Florence and the Machine, Alanis Morrissette, Bob Marley, ELO, Editors, Libbie Schrader, Nirvana, Murderdolls, Jack Off Jill, Bikini Kill,

My thoughts
The ability to coherently express my thoughts.

Also, showers. I never really realised how much I loved showers until mine broke and I was confined to just baths. It was actually upsetting.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

why my hair doesn't lay flat.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

"Stop knighting around and come and play me"
"Neigh, I'm busy"

I laughed for half an hour at a chess joke.
