I'm just a modern guy. Life's just a ride.

I enjoy talking with and listening to new people. I hope to go back to studying some day, for the first time in a long time I feel like I have some kind of goal. I would like to become a social worker some day.

I enjoy long walks, but I don't take them as often as I used to. But
whenever I move to a new city, I've moved around a bit in the last few years, I tend to walk around just to get a feel for the streets, the parks, the cafés etcetera.

Without sounding too pretentious I suppose I tend towards intellectual interests. I like to read and write which is something I should try and do more often.

I really enjoy live music, almost any live music, but few things are as exhilarating as seeing a band you love playing music in the flesh. I was lucky enough to see Melt-Banana in concert a couple of years back. Mindblowingly awesome.

I've been politically active on the far left since 07. It's usually an uphill struggle but it feels rewarding to engage with things that matter, particularly the asylum rights campaigns. Also, although I guess I've always been a bit of a book nerd, as a consequence of this I really enjoy talking about politics. Pretty much any aspect of it, from history to current events. I try to keep à jour.

I've been through some rough patches in my life but I feel like I'm on the right track now.

Food: Sushi, tortellini. Feta, mozarella, tuna. Preferably in a salad. You see why I'd make a bad vegan. I do not eat the meat of land living animals. I eat their eggs and drink their milk, though. And I don't eat, dolphins or whales. Although that's never really come up.

I'm really bad at following tv-shows, there's a fairly recent exception to that rule though: Grimm. Grimmian fantasy meets crime show? How could I not go for that? I'm also a fan of The Kids In The Hall. I've wasted hours on youtube looking at every episode of QI around. And anything with David Mitchell in it really.
