My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I live in a little box. Sometimes I try to write. Sometimes I smile and laugh. Sometimes I stay up all night. Sometimes I walk around. Sometimes I hide. My walls have paintings. Often I have my blinds down. I drink tea, but I suspect my temperament is more coffee. I like to travel, once I think I saw Marocco through a telescope but maybe I imagined that. I have been to Andalusia but I have never been outside of Europe. Not yet.

I used to be very bitter for a while, but bitterness makes the world small like a prison. My humour is still black. The point is though what I am looking for here is probably a friendly voice in the night.

"We're all going to die, all of us, what a circus! That alone should make us love each other but it doesn't. We are terrorized and flattened by trivialities, we are eaten up by nothing."
- Charles Bukowski

I don't really read that much Bukowski, but sentiment echoes with me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Got me a movie! I want you to know! Slicing up eye balls! I want you to know! Girl, you're so groovy! I want you to know! Don't know about you but I am un CHIEN ANDALUSIA!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I have...long hair?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs, Pattern Reckognizion by William Gibson, Count Zero by William Gibson, Neuromancer by William Gibson, The Stranger by Albert Camus, The Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy by Douglas Adams,
The Given Day by Dennis Lehane

Movies? Here's a bunch I like: Stalker, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Mullholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Inception, The Limits of Control, Reservoir Dogs, Fear And Loathing in las vegas, Shaun of the dead, Primer, Trainspotting, Snatch, Naked Lunch, Day Watch, Night Watch, Good Will Hunting

Music: Elliott Smith, Television, Queens of the stoneage, A silver mt. Zion, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Pixies, The Make-Up, Radiohead, Melt-banana, Sonic Youth, Dangerdoom, the Magnetic fields, Suicide, Jens Lekman.

Food: Sushi, tortellini. Feta, mozarella, tuna. Preferably in a salad. You can see why I'd make a bad vegan. Then again my everyday meals tend to be pretty fish and cheese-less, usually it's various combinations of pasta, beans, lentils, crushed tomatoes, cabbage and vegetables. Garlic and chili has become pretty standard ingredients as well. But if you want to take me out for lunch sushi would be a pretty good way to go.

Shows: I've fallen into a hardcore Walking Dead addiction and I'm loving it. Also Game of Thrones because I'm a couple of years behind the rest of the world. I've caught up though.
Other shows I like uhm well...
I've wasted hours on youtube looking at every episode of QI around. And anything with David Mitchell in it really. Other than that I really love Kids in The Hall, but who doesn't?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:
1. Tobacco
2. Internet
3. Human contact
4. A bathtub
5. A guitar
6. My future cat
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The unbearable long now and how years fly. Also love, politics and the internet.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Writing long posts on the internet. Or maybe I am getting drunk with friends. Or watching a movie. But the first one, let's be honest here, would probably be the more typical one.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Death comes nearer with every breath whether we want to or not.
