I started on the East Coast and made it through high school out there before coming West to get my bachelor's in History. I've been out of college for a while now and I've got my life mostly in order (except not really)
I tend to let people make their own rules for life so long as they do the same for me, which generally means I get along well with just about anyone. I enjoy the company of people almost all the time but I do need a little alone time here and there, as I'm technically an introvert. I'm mostly rational about life and the world, and I tend to take things at face value and put a lot of trust in people until they forfeit it.
God, every sentence I wrote here has an S-V-O structure with a conjunction in the middle (and they all have me as the subject). The writer in me is not pleased.
Anyways, I've been in the same relationship for nine years and we went open a while back, so now I'm looking around to try to get a feel for what dating people is like and to have some fun in the process. If that's not a huge scary thing to you, awesome. We're actually really chill about the whole open relationship and I'm very interested in learning more about love, sex, and dating now that I have the chance. I guess the keyword for those of you who are looking for such things is polyamory.
That said, I'm also open to new friendships, so please don't feel like you shouldn't say hi if you're just looking to chill out with somebody in PDX with no romantic/sexual tension at all.
