My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Greetings, fellow traveler. You have found me. Not the ultimate question to life, the universe and everything, but an answer to some questions. And a question to some answers. I'm seeking the truth and contemplating the Lethani. I want to experience the world and have an impact upon it.

I sing quietly in the shower and loudly when driving alone in my car. I'd love to get better from all this practice. I like to kayak and play racquetball, and I'm looking for more places around Erie to explore.

I'd like to think I have a mission in life to make the world a better place, and some day I hope to make a difference in how poor people can have opportunities to be great, or good, or at least fed and dry. For now though, I'm still finding my own place. So I make donations when I can to causes that seem right.

I value fitness, self improvement, and critical thinking. I love conversations that build on themselves until you forget how they started. I love conversations about ideas and plans and philosophy. I love conversations that make us excited, or ecstatic, or angry. But I never stay angry long.

For those that are interested, my personality type is INTJ.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a career in engineering and I'm taking night classes for my master's degree. But that's not life.

I've heard that a happy person should have three hobbies: one to make money, one to be creative, and one to stay fit. For fitness, I'm transitioning from snowboarding to something more spring related. I'm dreaming of completing a novel, and I add words to it periodically to stay creative. To make money though? Maybe the creativity will pay off.

I have other hobbies, but I'm many years from starting an autobiography. This isn't it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Humility. I'm the most humble person in the world. Also originality.

Though I never set out to learn this, I've been told that I'm pretty good at conflict resolution. It makes me happy to see everyone else happy.

Also, I show affection with physical contact, so it's convenient that I've become quite good at shoulder rubs.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile or my dry wit sometimes stand out. Sometimes just the silly things I say, because I don't feel bound by idiomatic English. I'm an INTJ and it shows.

Or I might be hanging out with my identical twin brother and people check their glasses to make sure they're not seeing double. Especially if we're on our unicycles.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like all kinds of books, but sci-fi fantasy stands out. Hitchhiker's Guide and Name of the Wind are some of my particular favorites. I also enjoy Malcolm Gladwell's books and the occasional thriller. I only read George RR Martin's Song of Ice and Fire through the fourth book. My enthusiasm waned after the red wedding.

I don't have cable, so I'm restricted to Netflix and Amazon Prime. I've been watching Dr. Who on netflix, and it's not the first british comedy I've liked. Sherlock is also amazingly well executed. No pun intended [SPOILER ALERT].

I like all kinds of music if there's a good melody and inspired lyrics. The radio is typically tuned to classic rock.

Apples to Apples
Dark Souls
An eclectic list, I know.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A challenge

Those last two do not necessarily contradict.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If I were to retire at 45, how would I fill my days?

How can I make the world a better place?

Can I make the world's best quadcopter drone...

...or just make it a helicopter?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with the guys.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I got unreasonably emotional at the end of Flowers for Algernon.
