I am a rare mix of emotion and hard logic.

I pretty much live my life in black and white, it's either wrong or it's right and I like the rules defined. I don't care what anyone elses rules are are long as they are not hurting anyone else.
I stick up for the underdog, always. I remember being very unpopular at bullfight in Mexico. Yes, you guessed it I was yelling "KILL HIM, BULL!!!" at the top of my lungs.
I don't like cruelty. You don't play with your food, if you are going to kill it, kill it.
I have a strong work ethic and I admire people with the same ethic.
I like the unusual, anything that is not the norm catches my interest.
What a dull life it would be to blend in.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I am studying to become a State Trooper. Who knew you needed mad math skills? Ugh!
I am fascinated by policework and I spend a lot of time listening to my scanner and researching traffic and criminal statutes.

I am a pagan so I enjoy being outside and communing with nature now that the summer is here there is nothing I like more than to take my dogs into the mountains and sit under the trees or play in a river or lake.
I also do a lot of outdoor micro photography, when my dogs don't come and stand on whatever I am trying to take a picture of. LOL I am fascinated by the delicate shapes, textures and patterns that can be found in nature. I will make a lot of hiking partners crazy as I like to stop and examine everything. I not only stop to smell the roses I will photograph them from ten different angles.

I also read tarot cards but I don't do it very often anymore, that is part of my spirituality and I find that these things are sacred. I used to read at fairs for extra cash but I find that uncomfortable. It is a very personal thing to do in public.

As for food, everyone tells me I am picky. That is one aspect of the police academy I fear, someone else will be making my food. I know I will be living on vanilla power bars thrown over the fence to me by one of my Trooper buddies in the middle of the night.
The one thing I absolutely will not touch is beef. If they are cooking it in a restaurant where I am eating and I smell it I won't even touch anything on my plate. Yucky.
My very favorite food is sushi.

I spend a lot of time just thinking about how things work. If something is a certain way I want to know why and I will research it or call an expert and ask. I spent three days looking into why after-market sunroofs leak on Pontiac Fieros. No one could give me a straight answer so I finally called an engineer at GM. He was a little freaked out, I don't think he got too many phone calls from the general public, but he was a nice man and answered all my questions. If you are like me and now curious, it's the x frame. They stiffen up the roof supports in the factory install so the flex is lessened. Mystery solved, I am sure you will sleep better tonight. ;)
I have always preferred books to the internet for information, the internet is good for a quick answer but there is nothing like sitting and thumbing through a book. I have hundreds of them. I think it's sad that a lot of people never go looking for answers to things they wonder about. They just don't have any questions or they never think to ask them. I ask people hundreds of questions if they know about something that interests me or even if they just have some interesting tidbits that I can ponder later.
I had this little game called 20Q that guesses what you are thinking within 20 questions. It was pretty accurate. The thing was when I would try to play with other people it was amazing how many people could not answer 20 questions about the object they were thinking about.

Ok, I guess it's not really private but I am a rock collector. I am like a crow while I am hiking or even walking down the street. Those rock fillerbeds in your yard are not safe either. (No not the big decorative stones, those are yours, but I will covet them and maybe even pet them) I am an unashamed kleptomanic of shiny, stripey, colorful or weird shaped stones. Big, small doesn't matter, if I can lift it and carry it back to the FJ it's MINE, ALL MINE. There are rocks all over my house, everywhere. Want to impress me? Bring me a rock, and I don't mean diamonds. I mean that cool little rock that caught your eye as you were walking in the park or hiking.
