I like watching good movies, visiting museums, going to concerts, and discussing the fate of the world at coffee shops. I'm also interested in traveling to fantastic and mysterious places (preferably outside the US; I've been to just Mexico so far). I wish everyone well and don't like to see people suffer unjustly.

I consider myself a deeply creative person and an inhabitant of worlds imaginative and ideal. Practically, that means I spend free time absorbing information, obsessing, and laboring over difficult computer programs and digital art projects of various stripes.

My personality award says I'm 'less political.' If that's so, it's because neither major party really represents my views.

Finishing up my Computer Science degree and hoping to avoid a cubicle.

Books:

Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead), John Steinbeck (Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice and Men), Tad Williams (Otherland series)

Movies:

I love movies. My favorite directors are probably Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner), James Cameron (Terminator 2, Aliens), David Lynch (everything), and Stanley Kubrick (The Shining, A Clockwork Orange). I also really dig Kurosawa (Yojimbo, The Seven Samurai). Every Miyazaki.

Television:

Family Guy, Venture Bros (brilliant!), Aqua Teen Hunger Force, South Park, early Dexter's Laboratory, earlier Simpsons.

Music:

I really like dissonant, stomping rock and complex electronica. Here's a few of my faves:

The Pixies, The Flaming Lips, BT (Brian Transeau), The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Yelle. I also love chiptunes.

The six things I could never do without

Well, I'm fairly certain if everyone answered honestly, they'd answer this question the same way. But, barring everything biological, I'd say I couldn't do without friends and my family. Everything else is fairly dispensible.
