My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an arsty-fartsy person who likes simple things. I can wax philosophical with the best of them, and I live for late night real talks. I'm the kind of person who doesn't really have secrets because I like to be open about everything. I had my time of hiding things below the surface and now I don't have time for that crap. I tend to hold my friends (and myself) to a high standard, but still embrace them if they should stumble. I love making new friends with total strangers and talking to people who have completely different experiences from me. I am an expert of the well timed quip.

I'm a feminist man who has some very ... ahem, strong viewpoints about equality. I'm a socially progressive person who calls out ignorance when I see it and wants to make a difference in the way the world works. In that vein, I have a youtube channel where I make videos giving out advice about what few things I've learned about the world.

I'm really into self improvement. Making yourself a better person improves all aspects of your life, generally making you a happier and more well-rounded person, and in turn someone who people actually want to be around. I spend a lot of time chasing some sort of joie de vivre.

I'm sarcastic but I don't believe sarcasm is the zenith of all humour. Like everything else, it needs to be used in moderation.

I may or may not own a pair of skin tight sunshine yellow pants. (Spoiler alert: I do, and they are amazing)

Other interests of mine include cooking, baking, youtube vlogs, DnD and other table top/board/card games, television, movies, audio books (I prefer them to regular books, sue me), walking, running, biking, and live music.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Making lists of short term goals has been big in my life lately. If you want to know what they are, feel free to ask me.

Other than that I'm just trying to make as many new friends as possible and try out a whole bunch of new things.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Remembering names/faces.
Making people laugh when they're having a bad day.
Making new friends.
Believing the best of people.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I smirk. I'd like to think it's in a good way.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

TV Shows I like:
Game Of Thrones, Lost, Arrested Development, Community, BSG, Star Trek, Stargate, Parks and Rec, Modern Family, Legend of Korra, Downton Abbey, Orphan Black

Movies: (in no particular oder)
The Fifth Element, Big Fish, Breakfast Club, Snatch, Lord of the Rings, Braveheart, Cloud Atlas, Superbad, Star Wars, Inception, Edgar Wright movies, pretty much anything by Judd Apatow or Quentin Tarantino, I also have a love of 80/90's action movies or anything with Jackie Chan.

I know this doesn't really count under music of TV or movies or anything, but I've recently gotten really into vlogging. My favourite vloggers are the1janitor, wheezywaiter, lacigreen, PBS Idea Channel, StuffMomNeverToldYou, charlieissocoollike, vsauce (1,2, and 3), and of course, vlogbrothers.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music
Earl Grey Tea
Peanut Butter (if you're allergic to peanuts we might have a problem)
Hot Sauce
Snow
Friendly People
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to make myself a better person. Because no matter what I do in life, I'll be there, and being able to live with myself seems like one of those things that's worth investing time into.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I wouldn't say I have a typical Friday night. I've graduated from school now, and don't have a 9-5 job, so Friday doesn't hold as much significance for me as it once did. I'm kind of a stay at home and relax type of person, but I still do enjoy going to see live music, the occasional bit of theatre, hanging out with friends, or playing cards at a local hobby shop.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a super open person. Perhaps not with complete strangers, but if you get to know me even a little bit, or if I sense that you can be trusted, then I open up very readily. I believe one of the best ways to inspire trust is to be trusting.

If you want something a little more arbitrarily weird:
I'm a sucker for a good romantic movie.
Rich Evans is my hero. If you know who that is, we will be friends instantly and forever.
You should message me if

I don't seem completely mad. I like people who participate in/at least have some appreciation for the arts. Socially progressive people are at an advantage, as well as people who can hold a good conversation. Having goals/ambitions of your own is pretty sexy as well. Being the kind of person who messages me first and doesn't wait for me to come to them is the kind of person I want to get to know.
