My self-summary
I'm 28 and I am a mortgage lender for a larger company. I spend a
lot of time on
my
computer, reading, or chillin with my
cats. I enjoy playing
basketball and watching
hockey (on tv or in
person).
What I'm doing with my life
Ahhh the joys of life. Trying to figure out if I want to stay here,
or go someplace else. Building a network for sales makes it a
fairly dreadful change of life, so who knows. I'm enjoying my
motorcycle and
the nice weather for riding these days. Oh, and of course cleaning
up after my cats (joy!)
I'm really good at
Pretty much anything that involves
strategy. I read most people pretty
well, so any kind of games really. I'm fairly good at putting my
thoughts into words, if I have time to think about them. I'm good
at putting people at ease in tense situations and working through
problems.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me
My name. It takes a moment for them to catch on to how to say it.
Visually, the shaved head. Seems like a lot of people enjoy
touching it, go figure.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Ah, the good stuff. I prefer fantasy novels, and Margaret Weis and
Tracy Hickman have been some of my favorite authors. Orson Scott
Card's Ender series were fantastic and I still enjoy reading them
as much today as I did when I was a kid. For movies, mostly the
general guy type movies. The star wars/trek movies, the die hards,
the lord of the rings. I also really enjoy movies like The Original
Kings of Comedy and Rush Hour. For music, there's not much that I
don't care for, but I prefer music that has a good sound to it. I
don't care what they're talking about, it's the melody and the tone
that really gets to me. Food? I'm always in favor of italian or
just about anything with chicken. I occasionally like to have a
good steak, but I hate getting let down by a bad one =(
The six things I could never do without
1) My phone. Salesman ya know. 2) Water. While I may not drink my 8
glasses, I still drink it more than anything else. 3) Friends. Hey,
gotta have someone to bounce ideas off of, and tell about successes
or failures. 4) My cats. They don't require too much attention, but
are always there when it's time to go to bed :) 5) My computer.
When you've got friends/family all over the world, it's a
requirement! 6) My mind. Please oh please don't give me
Alzheimers..
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Stuff. What is stuff you may ask? Primarily things I can't change.
I like to ponder the way things are and what our perception of
reality is. I like to consider what we may have wrong about...well
everything. Religion, space, time, dimensions, people, etc. Pretty
much the things that I may not (yet) be qualified to define an
answer to.
Other than that, my job. Always another problem to solve.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either playing a game with some friends, or chillin readin a book.
Occasionally we may go out for the evening to one of several bars
or other locations though.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here
Privacy? I'm pretty much an open book. There's not much I'm not
willing to tell. Online though? Ask and ye shall receive...
You should message me if
You can hold a good conversation, you enjoy the possibilities in
life, you like to smile and laugh, and you like sushi. (Ok the last
one may not be a requirement...)
