My self-summary Propose an edit
I've written quite enough below for now. We'll see what I can come
up with for this section later.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
In the recent past I received a bachelors of science in accounting
and a minor in economics from the University of Oregon, so I have
entered the workforce. I am working as an accounting for a small,
Eugene-based multi-national manufacturer. I am also slowly studying
for the CPA exam and eventually hope to work on an advanced degree
in either law or business.
Even more recently, I've taken the LSAT, so we shall see how that
goes!
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Missing subtle and not-so-subtle hints, attacking problems,
learning new things (I'm a spontaneous researcher), reading
quickly, playing piano, and a myriad of other random things.
Things.... Things and stuff are wonderfully vague and
all-encompassing words.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
I generally consider myself to not be particularly noticeable,
although perhaps my glasses or usually serious demeanor stand out.
In the past, I would say my beard was pretty noticeable, but it
hasn't made an appearance for more than a year.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
A) Anything by Neal Stephenson (but especially Cryptonomicon and
the Baroque Series), the works of Ayn Rand, Grisham, JRR Tolkien,
Crichton, Erik Larson (Devil in the White City), Freakonomics,
others...
B) Poolhall Junkies, The Lord of the Ring trilogy, & The
Italian Job. I'm more into theater. Favorites include Les
Miserables, Rent, and Wicked. Cirque Du Soleil is the consistently
the most amazing performance I have ever seen. In terms of
television, I watch House, Californication, True Blood and Dexter
regularly. The Daily Show and Colbert Report from time to time, and
discovery / learning shows as background noise.
C) Pretty much everything but industrial / grunge / screechy
loudness. Rap also can quickly grow tiresome. Favorite Artists
include: Billy Joel, Lucky Boys Confusion, Phil Vassar, Barenaked
Ladies, Green Day, Bon Jovi, Aaron Copland, Stephen Heller, &
others.
D) Seafood and Thai are my current favorites. Spaghetti is probably
my individual favorite meal, although I love a good rare steak. Or
Sashimi Ahi. The only things I can think of that I don't like are
brussell sprouts or cucumbers (unless they're pickled.... pickles
are good.) I'll try pretty much anything.
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
In no particular order... except for (1). That one is pretty
important.
(1) Close friends & family (2) Digital connectivity(3) Lots of
different types of food (4) new challenges & knowledge (5)
Sleep! (6) Artistic expression (usually by others)

whether people you see online are real or Nigerian scammers.
how many people really make good friends through the
internet.
what the future holds...
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
I have discovered that bars are too expensive and don't provide
nearly as much utility as I seem to remember. So lately, it's been
hanging out with friends, travelling to Idaho to watch the bro play
football, or relaxing at home.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
I'm super obsessive about people using my computer. I'm usually
pretty open, but it drives me CRAZY when people use my computer
without asking me...
You should message me if Propose an edit
You want to. I like chatting... Potential new friends are great and
it distracts me from all the things I should be doing. Like
reading. Or studying. Or sleeping.
