I'm smart, friendly, secure and kind, and I tend to come across as very softspoken. I have a slightly evil sense of humour, but friendly evil.

I have my own business because I generally don't like bosses. I don't follow celebrity culture, sports, or most media. If I'm playing (or teaching) sports, it's non-competitively.

My hobbies are caving and beekeeping, to keep me busy during my ridiculously long vacations every summer. I like to read but can't often find the time. I troll the internet for info on weird things. I love my internet. No social media though.

Learned French once, for a job. Still use it a bit.

Running a small business and beekeeping. I LOVE my work, helping kids and families. I'm in the process of expanding the bee thing. Bought a pick-up and a farm, looking for a dog and shotgun to complete the image....

I've also been running every day, (except a few months over the winter) and working out, partly to increase my chances of getting out of (and sometimes into) caves. Don't think I'm super fit though-- it's a work in progress.

Understanding why people do what they do, meeting challenges (which I sometimes look for), and growing peculiar plants.

Following through on something, once I've decided to do it. So far anyway.

Apparently beekeeping. I didn't kill them all this year.

I don't know. I'm kind of tall? I have Einsteinian hair? You'll have to tell me.

Books: Watership Down, Clan of the Cave Bear, Ishmael, Frankenstein.

Films: The Empire Strikes Back, The Fountain, Winter's Bone. Not so much the standard Hollywood fare. Or anything with Clooney in it. I don't get it. Why does anyone like that guy?

Shows: Dexter, Married With Children, Continuum. Yes, I'm a nerd.

Music: I like a bit of anything, but not much in jazz/blues and no modern "classical" cacophonies.

Food: If it's not an identifiable animal part, it's good. Actually, some animal parts too. Not a sushi fan, but I bet it would be good if it were microwaved.
